Yeah it should be but expect slower cooling speed. But once achieved inverter air conditioner will maintain the temperature.
Hole should have been closed. Why they charged such high amount? At least first few visits are usually free
Go for 1 ton. Since it's on ground floor, the savings from 1 ton would be substantial as compared to 1.5 ton if you buy one which has lowest minimum amps.My room is 12x24 on 1st floor and gets sunlight on all three side throughout the day. My 1.5T orient Ultron takes less than 5 minutes to make room comfortable and maintains room temp within 20 min. I run on 28 or 29 set temp and I do feel that even 1.5T is oversized for my room. Before getting it I was sceptical whether 1.5T would have enough air flow to cool room.
flat charges 500-600 depending on brand.
even if its 1 day after brand new installation...
First 3 months from date of purchase are free of any visiting/conveyance charges (written on their warranty card)However after 3 months, I'll have to bear visiting and conveyance charges which are valid till 25 days after my product has been fixed/repaired.
shld had not paid them in that case
usually they charge visiting charges but since i never had to call any one so early so never checked on that
Its been little over four months since I bought the AC, so had to pay the visit charges
Oh i think i misread 500 as 5000
fair enough....i hope your issue resolved...
yes it's fine now, also got the hole sealed from outside
Is putting AC outer units on top floor effects the cooling? The distance would be approximately 14-15 feet.
Is it recommended?
Its mentioned in manual how much max height difference can be accommodated by unit and how much additional gas charging is required for extra pipe length.
It will only increase you bill when direct sunlight would keep falling on outdoor unit whole day.
Also avoid running AC when its raining heavily as I have seen people getting electrocuted on rooftop since so called IP67 / 68 rating for these locally assembled outdoor units is bollocks.
Please someone suggest me a 1.5 ton ac, yes its off season now. Need an inverter, already a satisfied used of pel inverter 1.5 ton. Need to get this ac in a day or two please suggest what brand to get for good cooling and efficiency as well as durability. Also guide me what to keep in mind during installation. Is pel worth it?
i would say TCL/ Kenwood 1238 for now
horrible stories from Orient/ Gree .many units failing and people suffering just to get part replaced in warrenty.
horrible stories from kenwood too.
They're all rebranded generic Chinese products.
All will have many failures.
Go with any brand, as all are pretty much the same. if luck favors you it'll run great.
they all are rebranded including Panasonic .
thing is quality used and i find it better than others.. TCL is great and their quality is quiet good as per user reviews.
Changhong ruba technician came to inspect my vibrating AC, he said that TCLs are being assembled in Changhong factory. Can anyone confirm if its true?
You can try Hisense, so far mine is going good except for a little problem idk what it was that i encountered (mentioned above)
Kenwood 1828 users share there reviews.I installed one and it runs on 9 amperes
