Assalamualaikum.
I need to know what size of dc inverter should i install. My room is 9.3x13.3x10(height). 1 wall faces sunlight for 8 hours. Flat is on 3rd floor. One floor is above it. Although 1 ton is sufficient for this room I presume, some people recommend here to use 1.5 ton because it will make the room cool sooner and will decrease its amps sooner. So which size will be energy effecient for my room?.

Also i am confused between dawlance sprinter 1 or 1.5 ton and candy 1 or 1.5 ton. Also people here are also praising tcl elite series. Miracle is out of budget.

What's the normal room temperature in peak summer without ac? That would help you decide between 1 or 1.5 ton. Do keep in mind that 1 ton lowest amperes are lower than 1.5 ton so it consumes less energy unlike what most people suggest, but this also depends between models.

I am from karachi. Mostly temperature is 34-36.but during heatwaves it increases to 40.
I read in this thread that candy's 1.5 ton has 2.3 min amps and 1 ton has min 2.6 amps. Hence confused.
Also plz advise btw candy or dawlance sprinter or tcl elite. Reviews for sprinter are that it decreases to 1.5 amps. But candy is new and has r32 refrigerant. Can someone share sprinter specs label?.
Candy 1ton is 54500. Dawlance sprinter 1ton and tcl elite is 66000 and candy's 1.5 ton is 68000.

How did you find the quality of dawlance sprinter 30? What is minimum amp usage when temp is achieved? Can you share its spec label present on the side?. Sprinter 15 is available now for 66000 while candy 1 ton for 55000. Clear price advantage for me in candy. But cannot compromise on quality

That's not quite true. My 1 ton TCL elite drops power consumption to 320 W (1.45A) while my other 1.5 ton TCL Miracle drops power consumption to 240 W (1.09A).

It all depends on EER value of air conditioner.

If you want to buy TCL elite then buy 1.5 ton. It's indoor is big and air throw is also good. Will cool down room faster. TCL elite 1 ton has small indoor and air throw is also not so good.

If you want to buy Haier then again i will recommend to buy 1.5 ton Candy since due to bigger indoor and faster throw room will cool down quickly. Don't worry amperes will come down to the level of 1 ton air conditioner.

There is 1 issue with candy series is that its vertical grills are manually adjustable only.

But its just my opinion. You may go for 1 ton as well depending on your budget.

Thanks for your advice. So I have decided to go for 1.5 ton. Now which model should i buy? Tcl gives 1 year parts and 3 years warranty while candy is giving 2 year parts and 10 years compressor.
On the other hand tcl air flow is quite high 1000m3/hr while candy has 850. I think both are pure copper i.e condenser and evaporator.
Tcl prices are sky high nowadays.
So which brand do you or anyone who has personal experience recommend?

That's because you are comparing two different series, miracle is new energy efficient as compared to elite which was just a regular unit. My point is for comparison between 1.5 and 1 ton from same series.

Using Sprinter 1.5 since almost two years now, Room size is 13.5x15 ft with one side Sun light during 1st half of the day.
With thermostat 27, AC starts with 5-7 Amps and right after 30mins Amps drops to 1.75..later is keep jumping in b/1.5-2.25Amp but mostly it remain around 1.75.
Btw 27degrees with light/medium fan make us wear thick sheets.
I think Sprinter 1.5 should cost u under 70k.

Dear i think ghat amps are inductive and has less power factor..... So no actual wastage used as diagnosed in amp meter........ Haier 1 ton uses .49 amp on standby but when i checked it via wapda meter it was 20-30 watt fluctuate

I have 2 other 1 ton inverter
One is gree g10
Other is orient bold
Both doesn't consume any amps at standby
Maybe only 0.01 or less

How is the air throw of sprinter 1.5ton? Can you share its spec label? Is it wise to buy 2 years old model? The condenser and evaporator is all copper? How does it compare to candy 1.5 and tcl elite 1.5? Thanks in advance

Throw is very good
Specs label attached
Not sure about condenser and evaporator if made of copper since both has some gold fin(Yellow) coating to avoid corrosion
2 yrs old not at all recommended unless General or Daikin and u r getting at very attractive price.
Can't say anything about TCL and Candy as no personal experience.
Besides, with room size of urs, cooling/performance of 1.5ton AC shouldn't be ur main concern, any 1.5t can blow ur room in 10mins.
Check after sales service, warranty, reliability and price.

I have heard that haier after sales service is good they come within a day. I am getting 77000 for sprinter on daraz and 69000 for candy also on daraz. Both have almost same warranty. What do you or anyone recommend between these two in terms of reliability and after sales and performance?

How is its cooling, and noise of its outdoor plus indoor?

Is it super quiet like TCL?
