bad quality....with working higher pr4ssure they are running saame old or even worse gauge piping resulting in leakages ...

cherry on top...installers here wont properly install proving to be last nail in coffin of this pathertic quality..

they just buy it cheap from chinese manufacturers and assemble it and sell you like hot cake.......

i wish i had acetylene cylinder with me to fix for time being by myself.....i could have charged it myselkf but the leak is damnm big.....cant even recharge for few mins i did many times before and it woprked for good 15 days atleast in harsh weather..... bad luck ...

looks like i am heading to buy new unit....

its just may and its 35 degrees inside where i am sitting right now

Just came the technician of Haier as the refrigerator was not cooling. In 5 minutes of checking, he told me the whole gas is leaked and there is a connection between condensor and compressor and google search shows its called expansion valve is leaked. The service charges were 600 and the replacement of this thing and gas refill are 3800 which will be done by other guys tomorrow.

Today i visited market. Powercon (same as sprinter) was available for 77k.
New ACE series of pel was available for minimum 80k.i took a pic of its side label. I measured its indoor, it was 950mm. Golden fin, 4d air flow etc.. Air flow of 1000m3/hr. For comparison candy has 850m3/hr.
New series of TCL 18 HEA1 was available. I think its same elite series with different colour. It has big indoor almost 1000mm. Air flow of 1100m3/hr. Golden fin. On the indoor it was written on sticker that it can work at even 60C, but i dont think it has t3 compressor. Available for 83000. Looked good but has the least of all warranty 3+1. Now again confused. How is the aftersales service of tcl?

Should i buy candy and save 13k considering my room size or should i buy pel ace or tcl which have bigger indoors specially tcl which has also very good air flow and invest 13k more.

It's usually filter drier in refrigerators that leak. Filter drier is used to catch moisture and other contaminants. It's installed to extend lifespan of cooling system of refrigerators.

major diff between TCL PEL and Candy is that Candy is R32 while both TCL and PEL mentioned are R410a type

If You want to invest Really in TCL then only T3 model is worth that difference..(will be more than 13k) look for it...

Else Candy is good enough too...

I Ordered another 1 ton unit of candy ..lets see when i am gonna get it delivered as its already running short....

Thanks man. I have finally ordered candy on daraz. Now the next issue will be to get it installed properly. Do haier technicians vaccuum the units before opening gas?

extra charges pipes gas plug and brackets had charges chart.... removing old unit charges also

for making new hole they had criteria...above it there are charges....vacuuming dont expect...they wont...

if you know the job and convince them...max they do is they purge lines else woh bhi shayad na karein

its mostly a cpontract based technicians and they are on least amount cntracts per installation .... but company policy is strict so they somehow do a decent job or normal....not perfect sukoon clean....they are in hurry due to overburden and also want to earn max installations throughout day ....

What do you mean by t&c? If we call haier and tell them vacuum is compulsory, would they oblige?

i dont think so.. the PCB design had it built-in i guess ..

usually the wifi thing is useless as it malfunction and may stop working after few months....most of people complain abt it

i like to keep it as simple as possible.. you dont see this stupidity in many top brands.. its just a fancy thing being sold here and a catch to attract customer to mint extra money...

a conventional way of checking amperes is still the best way to determine it
