What was the power draw at that time? Does your ac cool the room? If it does then it's totally normal if it's an inverter ac. Usually inverter ac outputs air at 2-5 degrees lower than set temperature. This is to ensure low power consumption.

I was told a trick when I was shifting a regular split AC to save the refrigerant.
Start the AC, wait for the compressor to start then as the cooling is sufficiently high Ave compressor is running, shut down the AC from the power socket and not the remote. This locks in the gas in the whole unit. The technician then locked the flare nuts? So the gas doesn't escape and disconnected the outer and inner units.
Discuss the option with your ac guy.

you need to shut down one valve and then wait for few secs and then shut down the other valve and at same time shut down the compresor from main power in order to prevent damage.....

Mr amin said that he will replace all refrigerant. I requested him to replace my AC if they cant figure out.

For refrigerant change, they need to pull a vacuum first, perform a vacuum test, then mix the two gases accurately before releasing them in the system.

Update on Candy 1.5 ton.
Got the ac on 25 May. Then came the installation part. I told them specifically to bring vaccuum pump. First their supervisor called sir your unit is new no vaccuum needed. I said no i would not install without vaccuum. Next day there supervisor called and said please explain why do you want vaccuum . I explained but everything in vain. Finally i agreed on purging method because i was exhausted and gave up on vaccuum.

The installer first opened the discharge side for 2-3 secs and then closed it. And then released the air from suction side service valve for 2 secs. I hope he has done correctly.

Now to performance. Since my room is small (123sqft) and undersized for 1.5 ton,it cooled the room within 5 min.Temp was set at 28. Ambient temp of room was 34-35. I checked vent temp it reached 10c and touched 9c for 1 min.
Max amp were 10. After 15-20 min the amps went down to 2.5. After 1 hour it went down to 1.9 to 2 amps.
Air throw is quite good. Outdoor is completely silent, just a minor humm. Coming from noninverter, i was surprised with the sound of outdoor. Everything copper. Overall ac quality is good. Only if the installation part is done according to standard process it could last for a long time.

Which remote did you get? i have heard there is remote problem in candy ACs.

Did you change the ac capacitor or got it checked? It might be bad. Ac technician can check it easily with a multimeter.

You should have told them that it's written in service manual and if they are not going to perform vaccine then give you a written 5 years leakage warranty. More people need to lodge a written complaint regarding not following proper installation procedure.
Not vaccuming is the reason why lines leak within 2-3 years.

Yesterday talked to a local technician who had also worked as Gree official technician. He said that there are other alternate methods for vaccum. He said that we usually circulate the gas and let it came from the other end. This way the whole system is cleaned also and there is no air left in the system. I was convinced. He said, gas is wasted in this process but performance is better and we bear the cost of the lost gas.
What do you guys think?

Just sharing my experience with Haier. Its working perfectly fine and exceeding my expectation. Rectangle in blow pic shows consumption at night, that includes 140W constant load, a refrigerator and 1.5T Haier inverter running at 27C.
Room is 13*14 and no side exposed to sun. I also run it at 18C with door open from 9am to 4pm to cool down the adjacent loung ang kitchen. I have spare electricity at day time as I have off grid solar system.

i am also installing the solar setup for home. 3.2kva inverter with 3200w solar panels.
how much power the AC consumes all along for 7 hrs? and running it at full power for this long doesn't affect the compressor n whatever?? i may be wrong but thought so.

They are saying there is no capacitor for fan in this model.

Yeah i should i have asked leakage warranty that would have shut them up. I hope my ac lasts 5-6 years without leakage. Is the vent temperature normal? At night i checked and it went to 8c barely. Is the moisture hindering the performance? At night ambient was 30c.

Yes they are sending the remote that does not have self clean function. I contacted daraz haier seller and they said they will send me the right remote.
