Check if timer is set on remote. Also may be some loose connection between outdoor and indoor. Check the power and signal cable.
Instead of diy or checking by random electrician, if unit is in warranty, lodge a complaint on haier helpline. Please keep us posted with their response and after sales support. It might be a deciding factor for some members here.

I bought one for 27k from Gul Traders Muree Road Rawalpindi, around 5 years ago. It is rated at 9 cfm (@60hz) with dual stage pump. So far used it for 2 home and 2 car ACs and all are working flawless from day 1 Alhamdulillah.

Gree CITH 1.5 TON pulling 6.8°C.

Learning: Room temperature was 34°C. Even when running AC on 27 degrees, minimum of 6.8 degrees was blown. Did not have to reduce it to 16 degree on remote to check the coolest air being blown.
Logically it adds up. Till the time desired temperature is attained, compressor is supposed to work at 100% capacity and then lower it to maintain the temperature.

That's a temp difference of 28 degrees! Either your AC is performing exceptionally well or one of the reading is off.

The readings are correct. You can achieve that low temperature by keeping fan speed low and compressor running at 1200 watts or above.

General tips for maximizing savings:

1. Run AC at 27. It's comfortable

2. Keep fan on Auto. It will automatically speed up/down fan and compressor

3. Run ceiling fan at low to medium speed if required.

4. Place outdoor at well ventilated location

5. Make sure gas pressure in system is optimal

6. Keep filters clean. Wash the indoor and outdoor fins if they are dirty.

So my orient 1.5 ton AC leaked gas after 4 years. So should I just top up the gas or send it for tap up the source of leakage first? Can a technician find and sort source of leakage at site?

I was exploring Haier AC app and found a useful function "Sleep Curve". You can define timeline and define the temperature for every hour of timeline. For example I defined a 8 hours timeline and defined that temperature will be 27 for first 1.5 hours and then 28C for next 3 hours, then 25 for remaining hours. All these things are configurable. I know some ACs has built in sleep mode but I haven't any with configurable one.

i bought chinese pump last year in karachi for 13k, 3cfm. enough for home use.

this is good but sleep mode do same .it reduces temp after 1 hr of sleep operation to 1 degrees hourly or maintain after that before it shutdown.

for me if its sleepable at operational temp....its still sleepable for rest of 6 hrs too....
