Good Luck with it but i would suggest to get a new unit meanwhile and look for proper technician in off season.. you hurry it and eventually end up losing money time and possibly more damage....
is it no-frost...? 1st look for exact replacement or nearer replacement of compressor bcz finding supporting one is a job itself.....else spending money over it is not recommended ....
usually a damaged compressor requires whole service of evaporator too as dying compressor chokes whole system unless its a sudden voltage kill
