Those goons are a 3rd party company hired by Haier, most are young boys who look like they're still learning.. Their aim is to go in and out quick and hop on to the next job.

Get Tomzn breakers. They breaker circuit in fraction of second plus you can manually configure high / low voltage and current cut off values. Also they got builtin energy meters to show you voltage and current readings.

A lot better than Dolphin or Elephant or Anaconda breakers that are sold at typical electric stores.

They are available at Aliexpress for 1400 rupees per piece.

You can also order this one from daraz. Same thing. Not sure about quality but its reviews are good.

It's rated 40 A whereas my homes main big breakers are rated at 100A. So is it safe to replace it with this?

no. you dont replace your main breaker.

also this terasaki is a 3 pole breaker. for 3 phase connections.

the tomzn is a single phase item. you connect it after your main breaker.

isnt the intake air temperature an important variable in this discussion ?
The difference between intake and target output temperature will define how much energy the inverter is using, subject to a max restricted by the compressor's own power rating.
The other variable is how much "cooling" you are losing via poor room insulation.

No don't replace it. Just install voltage protector next to it.

By the way there are also three phase 63A voltage protectors available at Aliexpress. Not sure if those are being imported and sold here at the moment.

My refrigerator compressor gave up today. It was very loud for last few days. Any good person to look into this. Also if required arrange a new compressor and fit it at my place. Needs recommendations please. City is islamabad

the brand is Beko and about 10 years old. Got it from UAE. The condensor is compact one with fan not covering the whole back,

I assume it is a no-frost? Personally i have not found a good technician for working on refrigerators let alone no frost. I had a very old no-frost and electrician made ton of juggars while installing new compressor. He even bypassed thermostat for god knows what reasons and the compressor would keep pumping until it thermally tripped. That compressor lasted 3 years that too with hiccups.

One option you have is to find a technician who works for brands like Samsung, these guys know no-frost much better than local techs.

Good Luck with it but i would suggest to get a new unit meanwhile and look for proper technician in off season.. you hurry it and eventually end up losing money time and possibly more damage....

is it no-frost...? 1st look for exact replacement or nearer replacement of compressor bcz finding supporting one is a job itself.....else spending money over it is not recommended ....

usually a damaged compressor requires whole service of evaporator too as dying compressor chokes whole system unless its a sudden voltage kill

You are right I need to search a good tech but I have no idea about such tech in Islamabad. Any idea?

I have started my 2nd spare small fridge for now and would wait to find a good tech person for it. any leads will be appreciated

One option is to use a DMM and check if compressor windings are short. If yes, it is dead. The reason for noises could be the failing motor, or the compression mechanism itself.

one of the reason I stay away from no frost and imported refrigerators, no support at all, local electricians don't know how to work on them.
