So i have got this TCL elite 1 ton that has compressor speed linked with fan speed. For example if I run it at low fan speed it locks itself at 3A max. Quite useful for me since door of that room opens and closes frequently thus power consumption stays low.

Wanna know if same thing happens with Candy, Gree or Orient AC. Anyone?

I have Haier 2 ton inverter AC which is now showing E7 error. Ac technician saying PCB needs change or repair and everyone quoting insane amount for repairs. Can Anyone suggest a good technician in karachi i.e proper person who can repair the board by himself not a middleman who will charge 10k just for a diode change.

Call up Haier technical team. I recently got mine replaced by them. Got the same price quoted by another person, so the price I paid was fine.

Im being quoted for new pcb cards like 15k each so cost may go up to 30k as ac is 2 yrs old and out of warranty. Other market ac technician quote 8k to 12k for repairs with no cost break down even if its a diode or fuse change they want lumpsum money and no warranty

As per ac technician it's a normal fault in areas near sea as salinity is in area which is beyond logic as thoughtout world cities are near coastline.

I am suspecting a voltage surge caused by faulty transformer or lightening surge responsible for the damage.

This is the reason I am recommending people to install voltage & current protectors to protect all home appliances.

That salinity logic is non-sense. If it had any truth in it then pcbs in TVs, computers and mobile phones all would also have developed fault in coastal areas.

Let's see what happens otherwise I have all Haier ACS and they r all running fine the oldest being running for 10 years and also have bought auto Haier washing machine which is really good.

Please share the model no of haier auto washing machine. Is it top load or front load?

It's Topload hwm 75-918 , think it's 7.5kg but serves my needs. Bought it during some offer for 32000 Masha Allah very good decision. Normally I have 5 to 6 kg daily laundry so Small machine small motor less water consumption and less electric consumption that's the reason I opted for 7.5 kg plus I had budget constraints.

I also bought haier top load automatic washing machine hwm-90 i.e. 9 kg. Its been more than a year & we are very satisfied with it.

If you want to save water, go for front load. I have Kenwood, working fine for last 7 years. Not a single defect till date.

My personal experience with Haier has been terrible. Would never recommend AC or anyother appliance from these frauds.

LG Direct Drive may be bit expensive but its top notch. Look for one that has liquid detergent dispenser too.

Front load:
Uses much less water
Cleans better
Expensive
not flexible, i.e. you normally cannot add cloths once cycle has started.

Top load:
Uses high amount of water
Doesn't clean as good as front load
Much cheaper (half price or even lesser)
Very flexible, just open lid and add cloths if you forgot something.

The drum size of my topload 9KG Samsung is 90L so 1 wash + 1 rinse cycle uses 180L. Depending on how frequent you wash cloths you can calculate consumption for your usecase.

I can also vouch for water consumption of top lead. Its in fact like a single barrel carburetor vs fuel injection.

Dear Members I have orient 1.5 Ton Inverter ac. I have problem that It trip after 10-15 minutes. What could be the reason and how to troubleshoot this problem.

at what temperature you set your invertor ?

It happens frequently when you set the temperature at 28-29°. AC achieves that temp quickly and then trips.

the A/c completely shutdown and trigtger the circuit braker. Have to on the circuit braker again to start ac.
