Fins are not covered in warranty, nor any other part that is physically damaged.. The company will tell you that it is might be damaged during transit, installation oe usage.. The only way to avoid such thing is always to check the physical state of the product while buying, the body, panels, fins, etc.

Flaps could only be checked after installing if they are working fine or not.

Something might be loose or motor might be damaged.

As far as I could recall technician might have manually tried to adjust them and that might have broken something.

Ok now that makes sense. The swing or flaps do come under warranty. But make sure your ac has 4D airflow. If not, then the vertical flaps are just placebo, as most conventional ACs had

they are not placebo...they serve purpose of actually directing air flow ...in conventional and most of units They are manually adjustable at direction where you need airflow

Which 2 ton AC is best to use in a big drawing room which will be used only for guests visits as otherwise room stays empty.

2.3 kva can't run your AC. Get atleast 5 kva, and that too a good brand like honda, otherwise it will ruin your AC. Or get a 5 kva china or korean with atleast 3kva surge protector (servo motor control). In short, running your AC on generator isn't cheap!

You can also have a 3-5kva solar system, but that only for day time.

Also measure your room before buying 1 ton AC. Its only suitable for 12*12 sunny room or 12*14 shaded room.

Is there load shedding at night too or only during day time! Will the ac be used at night only? Or throughout day and night. Inverter saves energy of it's run continuously for hrs... Say 8-10 hrs. It doesn't save energy in start stop cycles. Also generally 27/28/29/30 °C is the temp range where it gives good savings.

No. Maybe a 0.75 ton inverter OR if there is a generator mode built-in the AC like TCL MIRACLE series has which limits the AC from going to higher amps/watts.

TCL miracle's Gen mode is not perfect. Even if you turn ON AC with Gen mode in place and lock it at 3A, it will still go up to 1200 watts for 5 - 10 seconds then come down to 660 - 725 watts and stays there.

Also on power failure it runs on normal mode instead of Gen mode unless you manually give a command from remote.

But hey that's the maximum you could get from a Chinese product. They are good at copying features but fail to polish it properly.

unfortunately we in small cities cannot get the proper installation. thats why i opted for one of the cheapest inverters. i know that tech in small cities and their mentality, there is no proper procedure followed and if you question them or force them, they won't do. so we have to settle with whatever is available.
i should give him a call if he or anyone else could rent me out the proper vacuum pump and manifold.

i emailed dawlance last night, as someone mentioned here that they responded promptly and provided what was required.
yes they called back swiftly after the email, but there first question was about the brand and then vendor. obviously they would not entertain other brands and said that they are currently not providing any installation even for their own ACs, don't know why.

Bro vacuum pumps are an obsolete thing even in big cities like Lahore Karachi faisalabad and you want it in Larkana. Now they install ACs with latest technique of purging. (sarcasm alert).

Well on a serious note, we get outdoors installed at really weird locations like wall of 1st or even 2nd floor where a large ladder is required to reach. So this is another excuse for technicians to not vacuum the lines because it's not easy to stand on ladder for half an hour with vacuum pump in hand and do the job properly.

What? I have all my ACs installed on walls and technician didn't have to stand on ladder holding the pump. The pump was placed on ladder/stool.
