I have seen pcb which has a grip which is unplugged....
Secondly its light is dimming and fluctuate the illumination...
Ac works but not cool well
Its haier ups enabled

Evaporator coil from the upper side that is bent is not cool as the front coil is.....
Its haier...
Please suggest....
Someone suggested that it has gas issue....
Extract all gas and refill it....

I had Gree Pular AC installed 2 months ago (using vacuum). Today it wasn't cooling properly, so looked at it and there was Ice build-up on evaporator and also on the AC lines outside the outdoor unit. The filter is clean, so what could be reason for it?

typically reduction in gas, is the reason.

simple vaccum is not enough, was the unit tested for leakages after install?

Acson and Daikin are top brands in the world. The reason why you don't see much reviews here because they are nearly twice as expensive so people like us seldom buy these. In 2018 when i was looking for AC, Daikin was 1.5lac while orient top of the line was for 73k

Anyone has more info about exploding ACs, there are several cases in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The AC explodes violently, often killing/burning people

anything used improperly will cause damage.

r410 is normally not flammable except when under pressure and exposed to ignition source.

in case of jugaar gases, with butane as a component, that is highly flammable.

Thank you for the feedback. I bought my Acson (non inverter) in 2015 for around Rs 68k and it worked perfectly till 2021 when it's evap coils leaked. After repairs it is still cooling perfectly. I plan to buy another Acson for TV lounge and was contemplating whether to go for inverter or non-inverter. That's why asked about reviews.

Is it my weham that there is a qualitative difference in the quality of fresh air/chill air that acson blows. May be it's my mind playing tricks or is there indeed a difference?

I have a Panasonic (Malaysian assembled) and an Acson (Malaysian assembled) and there is a world of difference in the cooling. Acson cools like North Pole in winter whereas Panasonic cools like Murree breeze in summer. Both are 1.5 tons non-inverter. Acson really delivers.

Do you know of proper procedure of topping up r410a or anyone who does it in Lahore? I've been checking online and the trained techs in US etc use temperature & pressure gauges to figure out proper gas level. Even better option is to evacuate all the gas, and then fill from zero using the weight method.

Unfortunately, the techs here are still using old method of using amp meter, which doesn't work well for VRF/Inverter systems. I believe that's what causing cases of blast during charging.
