Orient App is garbage
It can only control AC
But the consumption meter and room temperature and amps, these things doesn't update and are not even recorded properly. You may get watts of current time but then you cannot refresh it. You can then again close the app completely and then open it to update it. Also room temperature reading is always wrong

wow great to hear that, currently there Fairy 1, 2 and 3 are best models in T1 category and now for above models Gree is even giving warranty of 2 years on evaporator/condenser which i think no other brand is giving it.

you are right these above fairy models nowadays are being claimed T3 and i think before it used to come with T1 compressor anyways even if it's really coming with T3 compressor then I'm sure it would be the one that works good till 52, 53 or 54 degrees i mean not the real T3 inverter like Haier thunder inverter which works good till 63 degrees and i think a good T1 compressor even works till 50 degrees.

you are right, all models other than FITH series which @krafiq mentioned are t1

How to use this function?

Turn on Auto-Clean and leave AC alone for half an hour until it shutdown automatically.

During this time AC will frost indoor coils then melt the frost by turning on heating mode automatically.

My ac also started to emit smell only when compressor was off for extended periods although inner coil was clean. I just tilted the indoor unit a little from one side and problem solved.

Suggest ac repair service in karachi near north nazimabad, ac gas leaked away from pipe i believe.... so need to refill gas and replace pipes...

My AC is already tilted few degrees to let water drain out of indoor unit properly but still smell there.

So yesterday i washed indoor coils again with sprayer but that didn't help much although smell was reduced. (the reason for using sprayer was to not let water enter pcb and short it because its indoor pcb is not splash resistant)

So as a final resort today i have poured 9 - 10 liters of dettol water in indoor to kill germs growing inside indoor drain.

For now smell issue is completely resolved. Let's see when it appears back.

I agree to you. You can only control the AC but cannot see the voltages, amperage, wattage etc etc

I have a PEL inverter installed in my parents room, it is exposed from 2 sides, my room has kenwood 1838 installed in it and it is covered from all sides. Kenwood is more energy efficient then PEL. When both are run at 26 i feel that PEL is cooling more. Recently got gas refilled in Kenwood when a leakage was detected.

Could it be that more efficient inverters tend to cool less?

i want to give an update regarding my post 8025 which i just came to know from Gree customer service today about warranty of evaporator/condenser that any Gree model Fairy or Pular both are covered in warranty but on new stock from 15th February 2022 and not only Fairy 1,2,3 models. @hasankhurshid29 i hope you bought from new stock.

As per my little knowledge Kenwood 1838 is a T3 compressor AC and Pel might be a T1 compressor AC.

i think no it cannot be like this that more efficient inverter might cool less.
