So it's finally winter in Karachi and my gree G10 inverter bought almost 4 to 5 years ago wasn't giving heat and instead cooling in heat mode. So i called gree and they visited and said that 2 things could be bad. First they will get a new card which will cost 17500 but is subject to change because of dollars and if the problem is not resolved, then they will change 4 way valve which will cost 10,500 total with gas and parts and labour.
So they came on Saturday and now visited today with a new card. They replaced it and its working

But just now I was using it, the remote buttons stops beeping and the display shows P2 at first then blank screen and then F6 code but was still heating. I turned off the AC and turned it back on its now working again but still no beep
What could go wrong

Four years old ac still wrapped in plastic. First of all remove the plastic wrapper from the indoor.

Using candy 1 ton, its quality isn't that good - the outer unit is freaking noisy as well. So, not sure how 1.5 ton would be. Any personal experience, is it good? and less noise?

Its not even 4 years
Its more than 4 years as I saw the expiry for compressor warranty was Nov 2018

If you can stretch your budget and get that, seems to be a very good AC.

Haier Candy inverter AC outer making rattling sound for 15-20 seconds from time to time. Anyone experiencing or rectified the issue?

not indoor but its outer is too noisy for me, 1 ton.

It's always making weird noises.

seems like haier candy (MAX), marvel and pearl are the cheapest around.

Also Changhong chiq series.

Rest are all over 125-135k ... I'm not even sure what makes them so much more expensive. As, all inverters consume the same energy and have negligible differences.

Anyone using both gree and tcl, which one's better. I am torn between the gree fairy fith1 ans tcl 5dc. My experience with gree has been amazing over the years. TCL is cheaper but I am wondering if it's as good as gree in terms of perormance.

TCL 5DC only comes in 1.5 ton model.
I am using Gree CITH, TCL T3 pro and 18T5 model.
TCL 5 DC performance is outclass, it's not as stylish as gree fith though.
Gree was very expensive so I went with TCL. No issues so far and it's app is very user friendly.
