brother i think i saw a deal in metro isb for 1.5 TON inverter probably Hyundai for 110-115k. i think its good too. you can verify. i might be wrong.

As far as I know, there are no off season deals, same stock is sold next year at new rates. You might be able to find some outdated stock clearance sale on big stores like metro etc. But there won't be any choice in it.

You can also consider orient mega DC inverter. It is exactly same as Kenwood 1838s which was highly sought after but is considerably cheaper.

Bought TCL T5. Really loving the Wi-Fi feature. I turn on the ac on the way to office and upon reaching it's great. How is the consumption?

I have shared that earlier too, back in July

it's variable, right now in July, actual hours 381, power consumption 110 kwh, hourly average, 288 watts/hour

according to app, hours 324 ,consumption 84 kwh, hourly average, 259 watts

I have T3 pro, using since April
Other than this stats feature, everything in app is 10/10, especially timer and reservation feature

So to recap my issue. I purchased TCL T3 PRO 2 TONS back in June which was under performing. Drawing between 6-8 amperes instead of 12 amps and blowing air at 16-20 °C instead of 6°C. After a lot of back and forth TCL committed to send me brand new unit as replacement
Today I finally got the new unit. Old unit has been despatched to company for diagnostics. Will install new unit and share it's performance

If your ceiling was at 10 ft then your equivalent area is 280 sqft so you probably needed 2.0 ton AC but how is this one performing. Does it go down or stay about 5-6 amps all the time.

I was researching TCL ACs and saw few video reviews on youtube. Most of the reviewers weren't able to bring it's consumption down even when the temperature went below the desired temperature so the went ahead and switched to gen modes.

My experience with Gree ACs is that they start to slow down immediately when desired temp is reached and our gree viola would go down to 1.5 amps and stay around there for the whole night.

Gen modes are good but I wouldn't want to manually set them every time to bring the consumption down.

I have tcl t3 pro, used for 7 months in 2022, upto 600 hours per month, overall I will rate it atleast A if not A+ in power consumption dept,
and tbh nowadays power consumption is no more an issue, all acs are more or less power efficient with EER 3+, pick one based on other preferences like aftersales or App integration etc
and

I don't think it's 10 but 8 ft because of the false ceiling. The AC is doing good, I believe. Have been running between 10 AM to 7-8 non-stop at 26-27 just got the bill today with 164 units consumed.
