Has anyone used standing inverter ACs in personal homes?

Instead of wall mounted.

That seems to be much easier to clean/maintain and also a little portable if the pipes are kept intentionally extra.

In energy efficiency are they the same as wall mounted or less?

Does anyone know where I can get putty that comes with some ACs? it's use to fill hole that ac pipes go inside the house. Looks like this:

Use any putty like nelson putty or you can use white cement or plaster of Paris.

You can also use the spray foam used in construction these days. That will fill up the hole completely and its very easy to use.

That's delivered on special trucks, so its hard to get. The one in Spray cans, I already tried it but its not designed for waterproofing, its mainly for insulation.

Already tried it but it failed, because there is vibration in AC lines when its working, which overtime, created small gap between pipe and plaster of paris, resulting in water seepage.

Looking to buy AC gauge set complete. can anyone guide which brand / type to get or from online or local shops in rwp/isb. Havent started looking yet. I plan to use it for multiple home ACs that will be needing service soon.

purging any installer can do. you just have to stand on their head...

the vacuuming i did my self. the installer just fitted the unit, but i told him not to turn on the gas. the vaccuming and gas valve opening i did my self.

all three acs were installed by different people. i took care of the technical bits myself.

Ecostar duke series is good.

TCL is good.

Almost all are the same. Just ensure it is t3 compressor.

Can go for any established name:
-TCL T5 smart
-Pel jumbo prime T3
-Midea xtreme T3
-Kenwood 1866s Onyx (bit expensive but only AC with 4 EER, slightly more efficient than others but not by much).

I’m avoiding r32 gas ACs as there were reports of it going on fire specially the local assembled models. Exact cause was never investigated and r32 is used in many countries now but I’m guessing those AC units have a good build quality that can sustain r32 pressure in their coils. But not sure how our local ACs are built.
