Ok Guys, here we go.

yesterday got it Installed, this is Orient Ultron DC Inverter 1.5T. here is performance update.

Before proceeding. would like to mention that i lives in ISB, G11 Sector, lives on upper portion and there is no house on any side (Left, Right, Back) so full time direct interface to sunlight, room has no fall ceiling, but there is white marble install on roof. Room size is almost 150sqrft. With one big window and a door exit to back teras.

The room was left Idol for 3 hours as i went for dinner after installation. Started th AC at 10 PM, as soon as i started the AC the Load was 0.1A. i felt like i have did some wrong configuration in my amp meter later i got to know the Outdoor unit starts after 3 Mins so initial reading were for blower only. didnt took initial startup Amp picture, anyways heres the result

This test was done on Minimum configuration/Load

TEMPERATURE WAS SET AT 27 Since start and FAN Speed was lowest. (trust me it was cooling so much)

10:00 PM 0.1-0.3A ( remained like this for 2-3 Mins ) didnt took pic.
10:53 PM 1.09A (Outdoor unit was now started)
10:54 PM 3.83A
10:55 PM 5.06A
10:59 PM 4.01A
11:01 PM 3.98A
11:13 PM 3.83A
11:47 PM 2.87A

slept after this reading, wife was like asay reading lanay say AC wapis nai ho gaiega

What is ur exact model number of orient ac. Mine is ultron too 1.5k in silver. My temperature led is on a strip just above the flaps.

Now we have seen orient ultron series ampere consumption which is great. Koi bhai abh gree aur akson ke consumption bhe upload karee. In a dilemma myself what to get gree or orient.

GREE is way too expensive. I think 75k.

TBH in between Gree and Orient, get the cheaper one which is Orient.
Never checked Gree's consumption but as @asim510 has shared his Ultron's consumption, which is pretty awesome!

There is no difference between Orient and Gree, both are chinese. I am personally using Orient Invertech series and its quite good and 15k cheaper than gree. If I had to buy an expensive Ac, I would prefer to go for Mitsu or Samsung or Sharp or Panasonic by adding another 15k to the price of gree rather buying the same chinese gree for an extra 15k for the same thing that is being offered in 58k with different name

Exactly. Orient Inventage is around 60k while Gree latest model is around 79k
Though I would go for Acson if I had to buy an expensive one!

Acson is the pioneer and a different league and the most expensive too. I was talking about the ones under 100k

Today the weather is good in isb so today readings are astonishing.achieved this in 15 mins. Cooling is so good. Thinking of shifing temperature to 28.

Which model do you have?
Is it ultron or ultron plus? 1 ton or 1.5 ton? And whats the price?

Will slightly differ with you. just because they are chinese doesnt mean they are same. Apple is made in china so is qmobile and samsung.

As u r aware xhinese can make every quality.
Changaruba ac are xhines but we dont buy them.

Gree is a bigger brand than orient being sold in america and europe so they will sell for more.

Rest real test xomes after two or three years which unit starts troubling first.

Thankyou to all members who posted their reviews and feedbacks , it will surely help us in buying decisions. Lol i envy members having inverter acs running at 3-4A with my old sabro 1.5ton ,just look at the current it consumes constantly while in operation its famous model from sabro , many here would have it.

Will shift to inverter soon IA

Note: above unit is connected via stabilizer. Thing to note here is that when i run without a stabilizer i get around 10.5-11A and with i get 12A. So around 1A is wasted , but stabilizer is necessary when voltage is low around 180V.

Same here, mine achieves around 500 watt within 10 mins at night when temperature is 24!
though its completely different in the morning/afternoon!

I know quiet a few people were asking about Mitsubishi inverter, I got this installed it yesterday and while the results are not comprehensive, the AC ended up cooling the room in less than 15 mins and dropped to 1.7 amps. (Its a 1.5 tonn ac). However, I do think that Acson is more efficient but I am yet to completely test this new one.

One thing is for sure, Mitsubishi looks better though :):
