Would someone care to explain how to connect amp meter with the AC to check amp's

You need a single wire to clamp the amp meter. Ac plug has two wires connected to it,clamp on any one of them. If you clamp whole wire with outer shielding you will get no reading

One can check from outer unit too , need to open plastic flap on side. Sometimes outer unit is not easily accessible like if its mounted on wall.

so to access the two wires where the ac plug is connected of the inner unit in the room ,One can slightly peel the outer shielding of thick wire.

Hows Samsung inventor AC saw one today at hyperstar isb and liked it. This ac has both heat and cool system and claims up to 65% saving the guy there said that suppose if your monthly units used on ac r 100 then this ac will use only 50-55 units per month. So if any one installed this ac plz review it.

I also have 1 ton 12CITH2 installed on 1st floor,room's one side walls & roof are exposed to direct sunlight,walls are very hot when I touch them.i can't get such readings as yours in 1-2 hours plus when AC turns OFF due to load shedding cooling ends in 5-10 minutes due to heat of walls,roof.
My experience readings depends upon location of AC,different readings on ground floor & upper floors,different readings if room is exposed to sunlight or not,Humidity factor etc

For upper floor whose roof and walls are exposed to sun, at least 1.5 ton ac should be installed. 1 ton will keep on struggling forever.

I believe he said that thermostat is set at 26degrees, it doesn't mean that room temperature is 26 Rooms on first floor will always lose heat when loadshedding occurs no matter how big your AC is, with 15mins you will feel the heat. Its better to insulate your roof, and using chiks in front of the other wall. It will make a lot of difference

I have the same model as you stated and my room is also on first floor and the two walls get exposed to sun......As i mentioned before i was doing experiments with the AC. When I turned On my Wall Fan the amperage of AC immediately got down from 6.9amps to 6.1amps... And gradually the amperage kept falling until it got to the minimum which was 3.3.... Dont know if it fall more or not because then i went to sleep...... My FAN is 150w wall fan...

So far the research is going good. Share your electricity bills lets see how much of a impact these inverters have made.

Unfortunately we have load shedding here otherwise these will save more.

I have bought orient ultron 1.5 t inverter, so any idea about instalation.. is it different from the conventional split unit?? I have heard that for DC inverter they instal the outer unit ist.. should i instal it through some company guy or any normal ac tech/electrician can do the job satisfactrly???

Don't let anyone else other than the original company guys touch the unit. Call them up and ask for the technician. If any problem arises, it will be on them. You will be tension free.

Today i have installed orient prime series 1 ton ac after installation when Ac guy open the service valve there was no gas in the unit :(. No i have to call the help line tomorrow let see what they have to say on all this.
