Can anyone please tell what make is the compressor in Haier dc inverter 18 HNH? I have heard that its Mitsubishi. Can someone please confirm it?

For this model hsu-18ze ,under specifications tab compressor make is written to be mistubishi

yeah, but this is old model. Currently 18 HNH is being sold in market and their website has no info on this model.

People who have bought inverters, I would like to ask how they are performing in this massive heat especially in lahore and who have installed them on top floor with no insulations or ceilings.

My orient seems to be struggling to bring the amperes below 7 even after running continously for 3 hours. The walls and roof are continously emitting heat and even if the AC shuts down for a minute or two, you start sweating. My temperature has been set at 26 and its running at auto mode. Its a 1.5 ton orient invertech series. The saving seems to be negligible in this scorching heat, atleast for me with this orient inverter now. However, i dont blame it on the aircon as its mighty hot.

Update: Its been more than two hours since the AC is on and its running on 8+ amperes

Got Orient ultron 1.5 ton installed about a month ago. Satisfied with its performance but don't know how much electricity it's consuming as I don't have amp meter. Before buying I asked about which one to buy on this thread, only one or two people replied but after seeing recent posts about ultron's power consumption I am very relaxed. One member referred jambo.pk offer was tempting (53k) but I tend to refrain from online shopping in our country instead got it for 58,500 including transportation and installation. Just have a few questions:
1. Where do I find and install amp meter?
2. Now I have to get 1 ton inverter ac should I again opt for Orient or go for a different brand this time?

I m using old model of haier and according to their website it has mitsu compressor in it.

Room size:13*15*12 --roof exposed to sun but insulated with 2inch jambolan.no sun shine on walls.
3pm:ac starts and goes to 8.7
3:06:temp drop to 32 and amps dropes to 7.2
3:17:temp drops to 30 and amps settles at 5.6
3:30:temp drops to 28.5and amps 4.7
3:42:temp 27 with amps at 3.5
4:07:temp 27 and amps 2.7
It keep floating between 2.7 amp to 3.2 amps until 6pm with temp showing 27.then i switch off the selling fan and temp drop to 26.5 and amps dropped to 1.9 to 2.1
(Turbo mode turns off after 10 mins and ac was working in cool mode with ful fan speed)

Maybe my ampere meter has gone faulty. I read in this thread that if the batteries are weak, it starts to show wrong reading

It displays temp in " . " like 25.5 or 26.5.
I have attached electric amp meter with ac so i can keep an eye on amps from distance.

Don't expect to save anything in this heat wave. Your inverter will work 24x7 to cool down the room. That's true for inverters installed in rooms with roofs exposed to direct sunlight and no insulation. However if it's installed on ground floor it would be a different story. I think inverters are useless if used without insulation on top floors.

*A bit off topic. I bought a .75 ton used whirlpool window AC for my servant's room and it cools like a 2 ton chiller placed in a bathroom lol. Room is located on 2nd floor and fully exposed to sun. I'll get it checked from an amp meter but I think it is consuming 3 4 amp maximum.

My gree invertor 1 ton is struggling during evening . Its current intake going around 12 amperes during initial 20 mins . Thats quite high for 1 ton.
It is installed at first floor and no insulaton. Got 1 ton for running on generator . Though room becomes comfortable but this much amp from 1 ton are concern.

Sir AC ka kasoor nahi hai, garmi he itni parr rahi hai. Read my above post about my 1.5 orient. Although its going max to 8.5 nowadays but it is staying there continously.

Does you amperes come down from 11?
