Thinking of buying this Panasonic model. Getting it for 84k in lahore should i go for it or buy lg inverter as it is 7thousand less

Well check it's EER rating. Panasonic is an international brand, search the model online. Then compare it with LG, whichever has a better rating buy that one.

People who have bought inverters, I would like to ask how they are performing in this massive heat especially in lahore and who have installed them on top floor with no insulations or ceilings.

My orient seems to be struggling to bring the amperes below 7 even after running continously for 3 hours. The walls and roof are continously emitting heat and even if the AC shuts down for a minute or two, you start sweating. My temperature has been set at 26 and its running at auto mode. Its a 1.5 ton orient invertech series. The saving seems to be negligible in this scorching heat, atleast for me with this orient inverter now. However, i dont blame it on the aircon as its mighty hot.

Update: Its been more than two hours since the AC is on and its running on 8+ amperes

If you have powerful pedestal or wall fans, run them with your ac..... Your amperage will come down very much.....

Panasonic eer is 3.4 while lg eer is 3.6

I think 3.6 is better than 3.4. That is for electricity saving. Durability is a whole different matter and I don't have experience with either. Also check Acson 1.5 while you are at it.

Acson is more over 1lak rupee, options under 100k are sharp Panasonic and lg. Lg Korean made appliances dont have parts avaliable here i can say this because i have a lg fridge and a lg machining machine thou they give a year warranty card when u go to claim the Warranty they have to import the part and that take 4 weeks. After the one year warranty expires on lg product the part isnt cheap. My 14kg full auto washing machine pump went bad after a year went to lg they didn't have the part took 16k and 5 weeks to get it here via dubai so thats why am a little reluctant towards lg

Go towards Gree or Orient
Or Samsung if wana go with a big brand Panasonic and LG not a good option

Then make sure about Panasonic parts availability too. Electronics can't be trusted, if parts are not available go for one that has.

Panasonic isnt dealing here directly neither is sharp, lg will eventually get u the parts at a price. Ackson is here to stay and so is gree. Gree latest model with an eer of 3 is avaliable for 85k the viola series and the c1 code series for 75k.why spend 85k on Chinese when Panasonic is for 84k.but gree better after sales. For time being i confirmed Panasonic service centre and parts availability but down the road some three years they might run away. So that's my dilemma.

I think orient ultron series has 3.6 eer. You can confirm from their website though. In the end if your heart is not in the mood for a Chinese product, then list all the options you have of other brands. Then whichever satisfies your demand and the eer rating, buy that one.

U can find it on label of outdoor unit.my 1.5 haier inverter never go beyond 9 amps in last one year.

I have a non-invertor LG plasma gold split. I need to get it serviced from a decent technician in rawalpindi. The local AC ustaad has visited my place twice and even charged the gas. However, cooling is not up to the mark. He didn't have a vacuum pump either.
Does LG have official after sales support in Rawalpindi? Do U know any certified AC technician?
Would be grateful if someone can help.

They should have taken the unit back to check for the source of the leak. It is not possible that the unit came from the factory without gas. It obviously leaked from the unit and it will leak again.

First he come and checked for leakage and there was none, the ac was in my car in tilt position for more than 24 hours that might cause the gas leak. Any way if happened again i will complaint

Abid market. Its the shop left to alfatah electronics, deline electronic i guess. Went to alafatah electronic first that guy was a smoking smoothing i guess quoted the Internet rates.can share the number of the shop owner if anyone is interested
