Check ur outer unit may b there is blockage (some plastic sheet or shopping bag) on condenser.

U can find it on label of outdoor unit.my 1.5 haier inverter never go beyond 9 amps in last one year.

For all those who claim Inverter ACs do not save on Bills, these are the actual bills I've paid. Plz see the amount I paid last year in May and this year in the same month. the only difference is that last year I had one 1.5 ton and one 1 ton normal ACs installed and this year I installed two 1.5 ton ACs (kenwood 3-dc and Gree G10).

I do agree that as the weather gets warmer the ACs will have to work harder, however, the will still do better than normal ACs.

Its good to see some factual numbers and now i can guess that one invertir 1.5 ton AC gives a saving of RS. 2000 to RS.2500

You actually paid April's bill which is not a hot month. Show your May and June bills. Let's see what saving you actually get in those months.

There will be saving but only if AC runs continuously. Because the temps are over 40 now days, the minimum amps I get are 4.5 amps on 2 ton orient inverter.

AC is kept on full time, meaning it only gets rest during load shedding, around 6 hours. So my room temps never go above 31 and as I have set AC temps to 26. Amps come down in 30 min.

I will share my bill of may, I got 10,000 bill for the month of April, using fans only.

Acson and Mitsubishi are working well (obviously taking more time to cool) in this heat, but this is ground floor. I am yet to test on first floor but 1.5 ton mitsubishi drops to 2.5-3amps during the day which I am really happy with (its a fairly small room).

Guys which size Ac is recommonded for 190 sqft room on ground floor with celing at 11-12 ft. There is no upper story above it.

Today orient company tech come and inspect the Ac and says it doesn't have any gas thats why its not working, will come back again tomorrow to fill the gas, and he visit same day with pink cylinder[emoji14]he filled the gas now working fine. And there was no charges either visiting or gas charges

They should have taken the unit back to check for the source of the leak. It is not possible that the unit came from the factory without gas. It obviously leaked from the unit and it will leak again.

Got Orient ultron 1.5 ton installed about a month ago. Satisfied with its performance but don't know how much electricity it's consuming as I don't have amp meter. Before buying I asked about which one to buy on this thread, only one or two people replied but after seeing recent posts about ultron's power consumption I am very relaxed. One member referred jambo.pk offer was tempting (53k) but I tend to refrain from online shopping in our country instead got it for 58,500 including transportation and installation. Just have a few questions:
1. Where do I find and install amp meter?
2. Now I have to get 1 ton inverter ac should I again opt for Orient or go for a different brand this time?

Bought 1.5 ton ultron again in same white Colour as there was small difference between 1 ton and 1.5. Got it for 58k this time. Haven't installed it yet as thinking of replacing it with easy clean series EC also inverter as it has silver strip on white instead of that odd looking golden strip.. But don't know if it's specs are also same as ultron. On official website it says easy clean series outdoor unit is 30kg but ultron one is 37kg, I wonder if that makes any difference? All other specs seemed to be same, please give some advice here.
