Definitely better than Orient Haier Dawlance.
Gree is also goood. But to my knowledge they are charging high becoz they know mostly people buy Gree.
Acson is best inverter in term of technology.
After that Kenwood in low price and offer 3Dc components which are main parts like Compressor, Fan and in door unit blower

You have to get one made from your local electronic market or there are desi ready made Stabilizer avaliable. U need a 5000w Stabilizer. I got one made for 5000rs a year ago thou it say 7000w on it but i assume its 6000w minimum.

My orient so far has been doing great job, cools the room withing 15 mins [Room size=15*18*10(height)].
Haven't checked its heating though
I believe you've already seen its consumption which I've shared in previous pages.
So you can give it a try!

Confused...is gree really that much better?
I want quality after sales support, I'd prefer the brand's official technician to install the unit. What do u guys suggest?

My friend bought a Gree 1.5 ton inverter ac from near DHA Islamabad for Rs 74000 2 weeks ago. I think installation was extra. He's very happy with it. As far as I know Gree ac is assembled in Zhuhai, China and Orient is made in Lahore, Pakistan. That would explain the price difference.

Go for gree as it has better compressor and expensive control circuit board which control the entire operation of ac and it is most expensive part of ac after compressor.

Orient has mitsubishi compressor but has cheap cc board and dc brushless moter.

This month i got bill of 5500rs which include 1.5 ton orient 12 hours daily usage and two 13 watts led one ceiling fan and one fridge.

So if you used it for five hour daily you would get 2000 to 2500rs/ month depends on the room size and its temperature. My room usual temp in summer is 31 and i am using my ac at 28c.

I would advice you to go for kenwood as many people says its better then orient. But i am satisfied with its performance.

Orient is good i am using one, so far only dawlance have there own trained staffs rest is just on contract basis. According to my experience with some brands.

Do check out kenwood too.
