Bro a 15 amp generator can run 2 1.5ton gree inverter?
Or how many amp gree 1.5ton inverter need?

Indoor unit says 2850w. I don't think its possible, or its maybe only for indoor unit and outdoor have separate

My generator is Chinese 6kv. TOYO company. Rated 6000 watts written on it.
Jab 1.5 ton General Ac on hota ha to generator ki jaan nikal jati ha or feel ho raha hota ha maximum output par chal raha ha agr aur load dala to band hojaye ga waisy he. And it is on Gas.
General Ac use 9 to 10amps
Why it is so?
This conclude that 1.5 ton inverter is good for 6kv generator

Orient is worst. Dawlance is second worst...
Have a very good experience with Kenwood...
And bought gree inverter a couple of days ago.. Working best so far

Power factor calculation comes when dealing with apparent power that is kva which is used for marketing.

Watt is real power and dont need powerfactor .

3kva means 3000 x 0.8 eq 2400 watt.

Max current = 2400/235 or 2400/220

My gen has 2200 watt max and max current is around 9
Which is also written on it.

Its working good for some. I was sharing my experience. We used first Orient in 2011. Started dripping water from indoor unit due to some manufacturing fault. Then 2 other next year both had cooling system problems. Then bought 1 last year that also had working problems. Orient have alots of manufacturing defects.
We have to change 6 ACs every year . So we always do it one by one... And Orient is so far the one with most problems

We are using orient from past 5-7 years and Allhamduilla all of them are working fine without any major issues.

Actually we use in a stressful environment for ac, so I am talking about being reliable. In home usage or clean close environment usage it must be fine. I am talking about comparative reliability

Its More Easy Then....2850W x 2 = 5700W On Max Load

You Gen Is Rated At 6.5kva..Even If You Take PF At 0.9...You Will Max Out GEN On 2 Split Units.....

So Its Ideal To Use 1 Unit Along With Other Appliances Peacefully ...Else If You Are Going Near Max Load....It Will Be Dangerous For Everything Including Units.....Or Can Trip Gen Or Can Also Blow AVR Under Extreme Circumstances

Orient is cheaper.
But Kenwood is more durable. If your budget alow, go for Kenwood
