Inverter Type AC in Pakistan (Inverter/Non Inverter Dedicated Discussion)

Today I bought Orient Ultron heat and cool DC inverter for 60K from Metro Isl. They will deliver free of charge at home. They also gave me numbers of installers and said that they will stamp the warranty card after installing the unit and checking that everything was working fine. They charge 1,800 rs for Inverter installation and 1200 for normal AC.

Anyone has experience with Metro installer or should I call Orient to send installers.

I chose 1.5 because it is on first floor room and the temperature during recent heatwave shot up to 36 degrees C inside the room at late night.

Brought an Acson 1.5 tons ac without inverter for 63k. So far so good. Been using a Panasonic 1.5 tons Eco Navi (non inverter) since last year and its performance is so so. Need to set temperature at 23C to get any cooling out of it. The acson cools even at 27C setting. Installation done for both without vacuum pump. Not so happy with the Panasonic.

What does save energy mode do on Gree AC.... Ill upload another photo later in which remote displays "SE" and the ac also show "SE". How much energy will be saved as my AC already cobsumes only 3.3 amps....This mode appears when you press temp+clock button at the same time.

I got a bill of 6500rs for 445 units this month, using Orient prime series (+12 hours per day). Last month my bill was around 3800rs and the consumed units were 305. So i guess orient is doing fine for me, also the bill increase this month due to Charges per unit changes above 300 units. Like below 300 1 unit = 10.20rs, after 300 1unit = 16rs. And gst around 1k. What do u people suggests? Is it okay or it should be less?

Guys i need to buy one ton inverter for a small ground floor bedroom. Visited Abid market today. Gree 1 ton is around 62-65k orient 1 ton is 54k kenwood n electrolux also near about same price range. I need advice on which unit to buy keeping durability & best performance in mind. I can buy more expensive units i.e accson, Mitsubishi, samsung , lg, Panasonic etc but only if they are worthy of their price in quality and performance.
