I don't know about Pakistan but i tried GREE DC inverter unit side by side with Samsung unit..and GREE is rubbish...Samsung is true energy saver..The power consumption of a compressor is also a factor of its internal working and i doubt these Chinese compressor from LANDA and GMCC have the interal accuracies to meet those of Samsung, Panasonic and Mitsubishi..in my experience....the best inverter compressors are...these three brands...

I installed inverter ac which is ideal for the room size, cooling is excellent, room temperature stays at 26c, fan speed increase/decrease as per set room temperature , I am getting same electricity bill like last year which I had non inverter ac installed. In fact more than last year, whereas running hours are same, I converted whole house lightning system on led lights in order to save electricity and removed 10000 watts stabilizer from main power supply but it's of no use. And we don't have load shedding in our area too.

And Inverter AC is supposed to vary compressor speed...Fan speed is a function of set speed by user or may be you are using the breeze function which randomly varies fan speed. If you got taken for a ride by Chinese brand and bought an AC with only variable speed indoor motor then you will not see any reduction in electricity bill..sorry..

but the problem is that net metering is not available in Pakistan so i would save energy only if i use it else it will be wasted. So, when net metering comes, you'll see a big difference in savings

Yes you're right bro net metering issued but not implemented yet but alas I've heard from a very authentic guy that just 3 phase net metering will be available and they started demo meters in some commercial areas but not for homes or single phase meters [emoji22] [emoji22]

Boss bhai cmon ac cools when compressor runs. How we can we say its being wear n teard in turbo mode. Its doing it job.
Its a function of ac.it takes more current so be it.not damaging compressor as you are implying.

Compressor will work to cool room and saving if any will come after room willget desired temperature. Compressor running is not wear and tear which one shd be sad about.
Invertor benefits start after room is xooled , to cool it needs sometime to run in turbo as per requirements.how benefit is lost as per ur writing

I have installed orient ultron 1.5 ton last month and now i have got my ist bill for electricity after inverter usage started and results are good in terms of consumption..
For the period from 12 april to 12 may my bill was around 14000 with 705 units consumed.. installed inverter on 15th may on first floor room without any insulation.. so as per current bill units consumed are 515 which means saving of 190 units amounting to rs 2400 app.. so its good plus ac was used for around 10 hours daily at temp set 26..

Little correction.. i hav't got the bill yet but meter reading was done today and if they do not overbill then there will be a good saving.. i installed dc inverter in place of kenwood 1.5 conventional ac.. rest appliances usage was same from last month..

Compressor speed vary in invertor , as it doesnt shut down as in non invertor. U can check the speed via clamp meter and get an idea of how much power or current it is taking.my suggestion just enjoy ac cooling.

I have no idea how to chk compressor speed as its installed inside outdoor unit which all are, only way to chk the ac efficiencies is by using owners manual which I follow and I am following the best settings it gives.
Anyways I had to change home ac's this year as previous ones already completed their life.
Best part according to me they work on generator without any problem. So kids are happy and I am happy. [emoji3]

You can check the running amperes of the compressor and compare it with full load ampere to make a guesstimate.
Technicians have a diagnostic device they can connect to inverter board and get accurate speed reading as well as many performance parameters.

There are also adjustable resistors present on some model of inverters to fine tune compressor performance in relation to required temperature management.

The turbo mode is always limited by time or temperature to aviod premature wear on compressor.
Precisely the same reason why you do not want to redline your engine rev for too long..
Any mechanical rotating device has performance limitation depending on its material and lubrication characteristics

If you tamper the inverter board and force the compressor to run turbo mode continuously it will break down in a couple of hours.

Having worked on technical side with OEM like Copeland, Panasonic, Mitsu, Hitachi and world largest manufacturer of DC inverter motors have not encountered a genius like you.

Please drive your car every day in low gear and full throttle RPM.
Going by your logic engine running is not wear and tear..so next time your mechanic tell you about needing an engine rebuild you should just shoot him.

Comparing Apple to AC compressors..please find a job in Apple quality management..you will be very sucessfull..also all major OEM should shut down their factories because guess what..Chinese just mastered the art of produce cheap and cheerful goods.

Something made by Panasonic, Hitachi, Sanyo, Samsung, Apple, etc in China is different than something made by Chinese OEM. GMCC and LANDA compressor are good..but Mitsu and Panasonic are excellent..

Net metering is already implemented in some areas of ISB as far as I have heard.
You need a system larger than 11Kva to quality and a KESC / WAPDA approved inverter.

You may have an older unit which did not have such precise controls...since all air cooled heat exchangers are air-side limited..raising the airflow on the indoor unit will automatically raise the heat load on the compressor and it turn it should rev up assuming it is a variable speed inverter. Older units do no have variable speed inverter rather they are 2 or 3 speed only (called stages) in which case the unit is designed to raise indoor airflow and the compressor will automatically tick to increased heat load.

By the way we have plans to produce full DC Solar Inverter AC in Pakistan in capacities up to 1.25 Ton.
We use a DC compressor so it is has a large duty concession under the act of solar powered goods.
And with a power conversion adapter (optional) you can also power it off your mains line.
We use American made compressor.
