Super General is good brand, but off the market product so people dont like it much. I used its normal unit for 3 years and it never failed in its performance.
1) I used the normal unit with full fan speed and it didnt harm anything for 3 years. I dont understand why people say this, yes when you set it at full fan speed its cooling get effected a little bit thats like 10% but not more than that.
2) Never use any AC on 16 degree set temp. People have some misunderstanding about temp. If you set temp at 16 it doesnt mean that your unit will blow more cool air, it means that unit will trip after reaching to 16 degree which is practically not possible in current months.
Always set temp at 26 deg specially for Invertor AC to enjoy its cooling and saving electricity. If you set it at 16 it will keep using more and more electricity untill it reaches to 16 temp. Once it reaches to desired temp whatever it is 26 or 16 it will slow down its compressor speed and decrease electricity consumption and will only consume 1.8 amp to 2.5 amp means from 300watt to 400watts approx.
