Do iridium plugs affect fuel economy? Engine consumes more fuel if iridium plugs are used?
@rajaatta @Xulfiqar
They dnt decrease fuel economy, infact they are slightly better
Thank you for responding and guiding
In short, no
Thank you
Nomi is correct it givea you an extra omph in driving if you have some attraction toward the responses by throttle.
And plasma plugs are 1 step forward of iridiums but hard to find and are expensive
Right, with iridium plugs, I do feel great response while accelerating with aggressive foot.
By the way here is some data. LTFTs here are learned values after a 60km run on highway.
IDLE
2470 RPM
3547 RPM
What mileage you are getting on these readings?
And of which car these obd pictures are?
This is 2SZ 1.3 litre engine for Toyota Belta.I haven't calculated the mileage.
O2 is on the higher side in each picture. But trims are fine. So overall things are good.
O2 sensor is switching frequently. Let me share the video.
