Every engine manufacturer recommends different engine oil types and you should stick to that. Plus stick to one brand.
Also see any lubrication oil will get less dense (patla in urdu) as temperature rises and vice versa. For proper lubrication it should be at a good density at the engine operating temperature otherwise it will be like running water between machine parts for no good reason. So the thicker oil you choose the better, but keep in mind that its freezing point should be below -5 deg Celsius, otherwise your car wont start in winters. I have used Caltex Havoline CNG 20w-50 in my cultus since it first came to me 6 yrs ago and never had a prob. F**k OEM filters and oil, get guard filters and change them with every oil change around 3000k. But stick to one brand.
