Is a body change for BJ12 auction jeep legal?

I have bj 12 auction jeep and now i want to put a body of surf hilux on it. Any expert can provide me information about its legality . What i have to do to make it legal. My bj 12 has complete documents and its biscuit plate

kindly tell me that if the body of auction jeep 1976 modle is rusted then from where we should find a new body of same modle for it.
Auction jeeps have no permission to swap a body ?

same year / same model body swap is fine and ignored by the customs.

Please you can ask people in FATA / Kala Dhaka - | Balochistan - Chaman border area with contacts. Share with them the picture of body you are looking for not the year & brand make.

Sir the body on this bj12 is already swaped with pajero body. Front is of bj12 and cabin is of pajero.

the surgical aesthetics defied the customs hawks,
if & when they stop this vehicle they have no reason to arrest the vehicle as: documents & the appearance of the vehicle look alike.

consider this as example - a HINO truck COE ( cab over engine ) it can be a tanker it can be a dumper it can be a empty tub loader. it remains a HINO Model %&%

however when you transform it to different appearance i.e as a Pajero / Surf / Prado etc etc the document description will not match, and will attract trouble.

please pay a visit to customs directorate in your area., they will be in a better position to guide you in this respect. The member @CFB is always very helpful
