I got a Land Rover in 9th class, when my elder brother refused to handle my pick-and-drop at school. Those who have visited the "Laadli" thread, they must have an idea of how I take care of my car. That Land Rover was 1966 model ... and received a new lease of life from the workshop behind Lahore Fort ... I could not change the model, but anybody who saw that vehicle was full of awe. The Land Rover was a real beauty, but at the same time, it was sturdy work-horse as well. My 9th class was in 1981-82.
Last night, I was torn between memories of that Land Rover and the bright yellow Hilux I had couple of years later ...
