Please brief about Audi models 2017 available in pakistan and secondly many if my friends said that hi octane is required to run audi if u use any other petrol itll not work so explain it plz??

it will work on 92 if its really pure 92ron from a total pump you are sure is supplying without mixing. But high octane is recommended due to do numbri of most petrol pumps. Its not a big issue.

Audis are very sensitive cars. I used hi-octane from PSO only, but still my A4's fuel pump failed after a year and Audi refused to replace it under warranty. Costed me over 50,000 Rs. to replace just a fuel pump.

German cars are fun to drive, but they don't last long in local climate, and make a dent in your pocket with maintainance. If you're willing to accept that then you should buy it, otherwise get Japanese car. You can get 5 years old Prado for the price of new Audi A4, and it will last longer than brand new Audi, a lot more comfortable and cheaper to maintain.

Germans are built to last you cant even compare them to jdms. Take a look at the 2004 model e classes still roaming on streets and many other german beauties. Its all about care and how the owner keeps his ride. Cars get faulty parts all over the world even in Europe its not a big deal. I know a guy who has kept audi a5 since 2013 driven around 90,000 km plus and is still happy with it without any issues. So to each his own!!!

Go to this workshop near Z block, DHA, Lahore, and you will find all your beautiful german cars collecting rust in their yard unable to find a fix.
You know a guy who keeps Audi, while I have personally kept 2 Merc E class and an Audi A4. They're shit in terms of reliability. Its not my opinion, its my experience.

There are only 9 German cars in Top 100 reliability index, and just 1 in Top 10. While there are 32 Japanese cars in Top 100, and 5 in Top 10.

There is not a single BMW in Top 100, only 2 Audis and 2 Mercedes.

But if we look at Top 10 worst cars, its filled with German cars.

5 out of 10 worst cars are made in Germany.

If we look at most reliable brands ratings. 7 brands in top 10 are Japanese.

Audi ranks at 33, BMW at 30, Mercedes at 31 out of total 39 brands. So German cars are nothing but reliable and anyone who says they are reliable know nothing about cars.

People in Pakistan don't know anything about cars, they only care about "how cool it looks". That's why you see a lot of Audis these days, because its now cool to have an Audi. Soon, most of them will be collecting dust in workshops with huge maintenance bills.

If you look closesly at the charts these are all sports tuned cars and sports cars are just for fun not reliability....and i am sorry to say you didnt maintain the cars properly thats why you had a bad experience....i know i am not knowledgeable enough for an argument but i do know what these cars are when it comes to reliability and @xulfiqar will guide you better about these german tanks

BMW is 12th most selling brand in the world, and yet not a single model made it to Top 100. Shows you how bad German reliability is. German cars are only made for performance, while Japanese cars are made for reliability and performance.

That is the simple answer to this question...i havent seen a single german car not even a single german car that is well maintained which is decades old and not running like a charm...to maintain these things it recquires money...people buy it and dont have money to maintain them and claim later on the car does this and that...i am buying a civic i could have bought a merc but why didnt i?i know i cant afford it on my own for now...hathi lena mushkil ni paalna mushkil hota hai

You are totally wrong and have zero knowledge about german cars. We had 745i back in 2008 when fuel was shit even then it didnt cause any issues. About german I was going to purchase my friends c200 but backed out at last moment as change of plans but I drove that ride on 92ron normal fuel for 1 month and no the car never gave issues and is still fresh as its used as a daily driver its been driven around 117,000km now till date and was imported in 2011.

The ijaz auto workshop you are mentioning is more of a repairing working shop for accidented cars as the guy knows his work better than others. The cars that are still parked there because owners havent paid money for repairing and in the end decide to sell the car as it is from there. About reliability I seriously doubt you have ever kept a german ride and even if you did I dont think you could afford its maintenance on time thats why your experience was bad.

This is my thoughts only

German Cars are not reliable because they are "Over engineered" especially Audi's, they are only good until the "warranty" exists after that it is better you own a bank because they go into a kind of "self destruct" mode and the repair becomes so expensive that no one wants to own them. They are very sensitive even if the gas cap is not closed properly the check engine will come one and you "CANNOT" take the car to a chota ke fix it , only the "STEALER" has it, I got a add oil message on my 750 went to stealer added oil got a check engine message, went back since it is still in warranty got a 02 sensor , engine oil sensor error and they "RESET" it. But the software is required to do this I could also take the battery terminal off and it would reset it

If you want to own an Audi make sure you have a 'Reliable' parts supplier

Once some one knocked at my door @ 4 am saying ke "Do you have a fuel pump for Audi A6" his brothers car has stopped on the highway I gave him one for 50 $, but the stealer would have charged him 1000 $ for sure .......... (how did he know it was a fuel pump because he was a mechanic by profession

I am not sure why you're worshiping German brands, when clearly consumer ratings are on my side. The ratings I shared are from Europe, so if German cars are so bad in Europe, just think about how bad they will be in local harsh climate.

I bought custom built Audi A4 with a price tag of 6.7 million back in 2009 when base model was 5 million, and you're saying that I can't afford maintenance? After just 5,000 km the fuel pump failed which Audi declined to replace under warranty. Only Hi-Octane was used from DHA and Cantt PSO pumps. After 10,000 km, the electric rear blind started malfunctioning, so at 12,000 km I sold it for a loss of 1.2 million. This was brand new Audi, the other 2 Merc E class were bought used, so I will not comment on them.

Japanese cars might be reliable but it is pain in the ass to find a Japanese used car without torture thanks to the 2 number dealers in Pakistan or else there is no competition for Japanese cars
