I am not sure why you're worshiping German brands, when clearly consumer ratings are on my side. The ratings I shared are from Europe, so if German cars are so bad in Europe, just think about how bad they will be in local harsh climate.

I bought custom built Audi A4 with a price tag of 6.7 million back in 2009 when base model was 5 million, and you're saying that I can't afford maintenance? After just 5,000 km the fuel pump failed which Audi declined to replace under warranty. Only Hi-Octane was used from DHA and Cantt PSO pumps. After 10,000 km, the electric rear blind started malfunctioning, so at 12,000 km I sold it for a loss of 1.2 million. This was brand new Audi, the other 2 Merc E class were bought used, so I will not comment on them.

Well my families experience with german and swedish cars are different having kept them in europe for over a decade. To each his own, Hope your next experience with a german ride is better.

There is no such issue with Audi .until and unless you are putting acid inside your petrol tank instead of hi octane.

Japanese cars might be reliable but it is pain in the ass to find a Japanese used car without torture thanks to the 2 number dealers in Pakistan or else there is no competition for Japanese cars

If you are educated enough you can import yourself, process is very easy and no one will rob you. Cut the middle man and their commission. You can import new old whatever you like.

Yesterday my friend told me his 2007 C-Class merc electric steering lock (ESL) failed. Car refused to start and wheel remained locked. New part+installation cost Rs.80,000/-

Buy Prado or Land Cruiser. Luxury + Reliability. You will be more comfortable in Prado than in Q7 because of softer suspension and comfortable seats.

Yup, this is me driving a 7 years old Prado TZ G in 2010 on Deosai Plains. Brand new tire cracked on off-road track, but Prado didn't give up. This is called reliability.

I too had the worst experience with a Mercedes and vowed never ever to buy it again for the mental torture it gave me. Just recently, i could have gone for a BMW X1 or an Audi Q2 but thankfully settled on Suzuki Vitara GLX......and i am so happy to make that decision....
