Is Corolla 2012 better than swift 2017/18

Hello Pakwheelers,

I need your help urgently.

I'm personally interested in the E140 (Corolla), but my father prefers the 2017/2018 Swift.

Is it a really bad idea to buy the Swift? I feel like its design is quite outdated, and you could get the same look for a much lower price.

My father is hesitant about the Corolla because our 2006 model was stolen, but I believe the newer model isn't as high-risk for theft.

Is the Swift easier to maintain compared to the Corolla?

Our budget is 22-23 lac, and we're located in Karachi.

Any car but swift as the swift has a stiff suspension. And not so wonderful economy.

Maintainance wise and fuel average wise both are same. In some cases Corolla might be cheap.
But according to your budget you will hardly get a good condition Corolla e140.
In your budget you can get a good Swift.Which will be easy to maintain compared to Corolla given its age.
