Is Hyundai Santro OBD-II conmpaint

Hi guys i wanted to connect and get data from the onboard diagnostic interface just below the stearing. it is used by the Hyundai mechanics to test and get information regarding EFI, other sensors, RPM, all the car data. They have got a scanner that is connecte to the interface and all engine/car data is shown on LCD.

it shows that there must be some error code. the error code can be seen through scanner that is available at hyundai dealership. but if you want to try you can disconnect battery wire for 10 mins and then again reconnect see if the error remains. if it remains then you got to take your car to some hyndai dealership for the diagnosis

I am not sure is sntro OBD-II compliant or Not , But you can get all of your fault codes and engine and transmission data with the Elm scan tool.

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and then reconnect it. This resets your ECU. If the problem code comes up, it won't be for another 50 km or so. If it doesn't come up, then there's no problem.

yes it is... Most of the cars after 1996 work on OBD-II
