Is Islamabad traffic police test Legal? Reverse in roundabout?

I just came back from overseas and went to ITP for driving test. I was told to reserve car from roudabout in a question mark form and park the car ? I obviously failed because car was old suzuki. I argued that your whole test is illegal.They told me its not because "its pakistan here illegal is legal". Can i complain to anyone that this test by all sense and international test is crazy. In across the world, during the test they tell you to drive on the road and reserve park.In pakistan, they tell you to drive car in reverse like its a circus show of drag racing. I asked someone they said you need links to bribe the ITP and then you can get the license.The reasons they have crazy test so people will be forced to bribe them.What a shame our country traffic police is involved in such scams.

They want to test your skills,
if u may do something wrong (DAAKAYTEY) and need to run (in reverse your car in a way) nobody gonna be hurt... WANT TO SAVE YOU AND CROWD AROUND YOU.

Same test was taken from my elder brother long time ago in lahore, and he was as usual failed...

I have cleared that Test in 2nd Attempt and got ITP Driving License
Please do some practice and you will easily pass that test, they key is turn you head and see from back screen.
You can use your own vehicle, simply ask then and they will allow you and that test is little different not that same question mark.

The point is not about passing or not passing rather why such an illegal test is being conducted and on whose instruction?In Uk, if you reverse a car that way ,you will be behind bars for endandering life. The attitude of ITP is like "pata sahab illegal hai per SP sahab ko khush karna hai na ke ajj 10 bande fail kie".Plus, i met a guy who said he can get the license by paying 1000rs because he knows the guy who conduct test and he already made my 5 friends their license(what a joke that they put a sign there that there is no corruption in ITP). This is corruption + illegal test being conducted.In UK, they tell you to drive on straight road and interact with real traffic not like some drama test where you reverse car doing a circus show.
Plus, i drove in UK for 10 years i don't need a driving school and i have a valid UK license but our police needs "rishwat" or want to make SP sahab happy by failing people in tests. Its a complete shame.

I passed that test in 1st attempt and many others did in front of me. There's nothing "illegal" about that i think

Well you are not fit to drive in Pakistani conditions :).
Secondly there is no concept of Bribes but yes if you know some high up they can put in a good word for you.
Btw you drive without licence and if stopped by someone show your overseas licence

Old suzukis are Sh*t it its worse form. Screwed up turning circle, screwed up clutch and last but not least tiny side mirrors(they count because you cannot turn back)

Only they will facilitate and long queue will be avoided, rest all formalities needs completion, even I have seen some diplomats with high ups of ITP and they were taking test in SUVs ...

Things have improved a lot in issuing Pakistani licenses, then.

I acquired my license in 2011 and i had to pass these both tests. Even though i was there with a really strong reference. The benefits i got were skipping the queues, learner's sheet and coming out of the premises within an hour along with original license card

The new card licences look great, but it is a pity that one has to revert to the somewhat "traditional" style of driving when going back, rather than the "bookish" one needed for passing the test.

(Yes the test is a useless exercise though it is very easy to skip it altogether if you 'know' someone.)

Got mine ITP in 2004. At that time they asked me 4 questions i answered 2 correctly. Test he asked me to reverse in an L shape cones tht i did on my own car. Another friend who never drove car before paid 1000Rs to the police wala he was also passed.

Rs 1000? Some things definitely have not changed.
