AoA,

There are news of new auto brands coming in Pakistan. I was planning to sell my Swift 2011/12 and upgrade to a Sedan (City 1.5 or Ciaz Auto). Someone suggested to wait for a few months as there are new vehicles coming in the market. Prices may change with the arrival of new brands.

Thoughts?

P.S. I have a budget of 16-17 Lac.
I liked Suzuki Ciaz but the only down side is spares availability and resale down the line. Any recommendations?

Ws, too much uncertainty in the market. If you really need to change your car then go for it. And better option would be city 1.5 prosmatec.

Stick with used cars.... new car prices are exorbitantly high and you will sure going to lose value in future for your new car i.e. after 1 to 2 years. Hopefully economy will improve by then.

in that price you get city 1.3 pr 1.5 manual 2017-2018 model....which is a very good car....it is not as powerful as swift but definitely a good car to buy....both availibility of spare parts and resale of city are very good....about the newcomers we dont know yet....as they have not launched any imported or local cars as of yet...

p.s. news from center is not good....people are saying that even if the newcomers do launch cars they would be priced exorbitantly and would not be worth buying...rest is your decision...

It's actually never a good time to purchase a car. You can't wait forever for the best time to come
Just get the car Wich cones in your budget and be done with it.

Some people would disagree; the ZERO METER psyche. But it is a very good advice for people with low budgets. Instead of buying a new car, buying a low mileage used car saves you reasonable money and you get almost a new car. I bought my Swift @12,000 Km and it saved me 120k.

I was thinking about City 1.5 but someone suggested Ciaz. Parts and Resale are the biggest concerns.
Better have a peace of mind.

I hardly see any Suzuki Caiz in Rwp/Isb roads. However there are four of them displayed at Centaurus mall trying to attract customers.
Members advice to buy a used Honda City is the best option.
