Is it a good time to have a road trip to Lahore from Karachi during the last week of December?

I am planning to have a road trip via BRV to Lahore from Karachi during the last week of December. Is this a bad time to travel due to foggy weather? Anyone has any experience of the travel? How bad is it? Can it make 1 hour of travel to possibly 3 hours of travel?

Would appreciate if anyone shares their experience or any advices.

It depends. Plan your travel during daylight and you won't have much problem. You won't have foggy conditions in Sindh, crossing countryside of Punjab might b a problem but utilize daylight for that

Yea we plan to do all the traveling during the daytime. But I have heard in some cases the motorway gets closed off due to a very heavy fog sometimes during daytime too .. is that the case?

It does get closed but that's purely out of luck. Besides it usually is open between 11am to 11pm
