Is it a sensible move to switch to MarkX 300 premium 2gr from RS Turbo 2020?

So lately I have been thinking to move towards markx 300g premium preferably upgraded to 3500 2gr or something similar.

Currently have RsTurbo 2020, uni-chipped.

Having no issue with my turbo probably because it's a new car, not even once went to workshop apart from changing oils or brake-pads.

The only thing that is kind of a hesitating factor me is, MarkX is quite old and if we look up the ads, the good ones are listed around with asking of 4M upto 5M. I am only concerned considering it's an old model that it doesn't become a pain in my ass by going to workshops frequently.

Another and more preferable move is to 350z, but considering it's current price around 10M, will need to sell my turbo along with both kidneys. lol

So kindly share your thoughts/suggestions, would be much better if someone has kept them both.

It depends if the car is going to be your daily driver or a weekend project.

I love Toyotas and their reliability.
I myself was stuck in a similar situation as you are. The only thing you need to look for while getting a Mark X is that you actually find a genuine, good-condition car; otherwise, you will probably have to spend some time sourcing parts and doing workshop rounds.
But man, I must say it's one of the best cars Toyota has ever produced. The possibilities with this car are endless!

Personal suggestion: don't go for 350 at this price range; it's pure stupidity.

Don't get me wrong, 350Z is a good sports cruiser, but it's overpriced in Pakistan currently, and no one knows the reason for this. These cars were literally trading just 15-20 lacs above the RX8 price a few years ago.

And 350's are not like rx7 or skylines, globally bhi they are cheap to procure. Avg price for a 350 in UK is around 5,000 GBP.

Avoid 350z, it used to sell for 2 mil and not worth to spend 8-9 mill on it. Is there any particular reason why you want to shift from Civic turbo to mark x? Civic is new and with a few upgrades, it can smoke any 350z or markx.

No specific reason, aru lene ka purana shoq hai (Sold 2011 reborn few years back and bought cl9 2003) worst experience till date, it was pretty screwed up ride. Spent more time in workshops than on the roads with it. End main dost ki minat kar k sale ki.

Yes bro it's pretty quick and impressive, another thought can be to put some more juice in it, something like max power lahore does with turbos, I am not much literate with technical side, but heard they offer multiple options to upgrade turbos and other cars.

No matter how rock solid toyota is, you can never compare new car with old one. It will require workshop visits.

If you want to do experiments, then do it on RS. New car with mods can beat most of cars.
