is it Good to do Alto 1000cc 2007 Model Engine replacement with Auto 660cc. It will effect on Registration and Engine number would be change. Honest suggestions are needed.

I think there will be power to weight ratio issue. The body of the old alto is heavier than the new alto, so the 660cc engine may not perform as well as it does in the new alto's body.

your local Alto have engine spare parts support for NEW parts even today at end of 2021. The engine rebuilding is piece of cake.

Where as JDM 660 engine does not have new parts support and you will be a regular visitor to workshop wasting time and money.

Should work, JDM engines are powerful enough for 2003 2012 alto.

You need engine room alterations to fit 660cc engine in a Pakistan alto.

But it's doable and alot of people are doing it.

Secondly most people put in a 3 speed AT which would have a bad fuel average.

Also if engine room modification are not done right. You will never get rid of vibrations.

Yes you can. This Alto also came with 660 from factory. My mechanic did many swaps and they turn out very well. I also drove one and car had pretty good torque with Auto.

Just get newer Gen engine.

I have seen, some people done this, Engine is Automatic and getting fuel average near 20KM/Liter.

From Bilal Ganj, Lahore I think every thing would be easily available and I see a person who recently done this from that area. He is getting 20KM/Liter average.

K6A is the engine.
Don't get it swapped from bilal gunj. They just gonna throw the engine in, start it and call it a day. First a suitable mechanic. You can consider k10 as well.

^^^ agree.... random kabbari-wala will just do the chicken-tikka work. Better hire trained workshop person properly placing the new unit to it. All the best

20 is too much to call for 16 to 17 in city I have been told... not bad in city 17kms from an old engine replaced car.
