@poster. I don't think so. This particular pipe goes to the throttle. The other one stuck to it carries coolant. If they are old do not mess with them. I broke it on my city and it was a real PITA finding a new one.

Alright, in old D series, PCV is located on the back on the engine, beneath the IM, on a black body, next to the oil filter.

I broke it on my city and it was a real PITA finding a new one.

Then don't find a new one. DIY an oil catch can instead. Your engine would thank you for that.

A PCV is a one-way valve. It takes the crank gases to the IM. It's a breather for crank case.

Now, those crank and head gases are not dry, they have suspended oil particles in them. That's why breather pipe from engine has hot water line going along side: to keep those gases warm, so that they may not stick to the intake pipe.
The suspended oil is not exactly healthy for your engine, it causes all kind of problems like MAP/MAF failure, lowering fuel octane to cause detonation, brunt valves, carbon deposits etc.
An oil catch can's job is to trap those oil particles, and return cleaner air to the engine.

Still better than the newer Honda engines where the whole IM and tapper cover is plastic.

Honda already provided a poor excuse of a catch can on the D engines. Does it work? - its moot.

now back to that heated pipe - its usually rusted away due to air pockets - reason given to owner - "coolant mein tezaab hota hai" -

The new R18 engine also has no exhaust manifold, its literally an oval flange. The engine is wheezy and yes it does blow apart the intake manifold on backfire - seen lots of them here in the US.

No one talked here about the location of pcv valve.
Anyone can kindly tell the location and suggest that should i take it out and clean it myself or should I go to a mechanic for that?

Yes i think i have, kindly if you can guide me. My car (honda city 2001) wasn’t idling well, rpm dropped to zero and car would shut down when the ac turned on and putting it in any gear (its an automatic). My mechanic tried adjusting rpm but didn’t help then serviced throttle body but the problem is still there.
I visited swat with that problem, there it took a lot of time to start n warm up( i had to maintain minimum rpm even then it started and shuts down in few secs, doing it for a lot of time would let me get a little warm up then eventually after 5-10 mins it was started properly) there i noticed black liquid in the air manifold.

I searched on my own about all the issues my findings are I’m having a very bad pcv valve or my engine needs to replace rings atleast. (Got engine overhauled 3 years ago)

Now issues my car is having are:
-Bad idling, rpm drops to zero and car goes of sometimes, like on speed breakers.
-black liquid in air manifold( i dried it but i comes again and it smelled like petrol )
-breather pipe was also kind of wet, where attached to air-filter box.
-Reducing engine oil
-low fuel average

Kindly keeping in view above situation and issues suggest me what should I do?

Get compression tested.
Then check iacv valve and change the pcv as it's throwing oil in the intake.
First get these things done.
