Is it possible to put 2zz or H22 in Suzuki khyber?

Is it possible to put 2zz or H22 in Suzuki khyber? I want it to fit in anyhow, I am willing to remove the hood if needed. The car is going to soon be converted into a a beast. And if possible can any other strong engine fit in the car?

I would highly recommend building off of a stronger and stabler chassis for this project.

complete Tube frame chassis, with a REAR mounted engine. with a Khyber Shell for a skin.

Khyber chassis itself will NOT handle this power.

There is a Suzuki J18 powered Khyber in Islamabad.

So you can look into that option as well.

My recommendation would be not go above 1800 cc. You are naming some high horsepower engines.

Hmm, Rear mounted engine. Can't it be placed where the hood is? And I know the benefits of rear-mounted engine

So you mean the engine will be placed in the truck or diggi? Isn't it gonna be noisy inside of the car?

you mentioned beast, i mentioned the tube frame.

hood removal serves no purpose as such.

what is really necessary is that your axles line up with the gearbox perfectly horizontal. and at that point, the oil sump (or lowest point of the engine) must have sufficient ground clearance to make the car driveable without any problems. consider shallow oil sumps and Steel plate under shield for this purpose.

once this is done, then turn your focus to whether hood needs to be removed, cut or what ever.

Tysm for the information, I was just telling we don't need to compromise on the engine. I would love the drive the car even If the engine sticks out of the engine bay. But I won't be able to drive in the rain. Btw by rear mentioned engine you mean engine placed in the trunk or diggi right? I already asked this question, Its gonna be noisy right?

Don't know about H22 but I sure have seen 2ZZ, M18 and D Series swapped khybers in Islamabad and Peshawar so it is possible but the car wouldn't have any traction at all.

A set of good quality tyres? Is it enough to create traction? And which engine is better 2zz or H22

the engine will be placed somewhere in the rear seat / diggi area.

depends on where the gearbox lines up with the wheels.

you will need extreme fabrication including cutting up the floor and welding.

GAS WELDING is OUT OF THE QUESTION. this is not your typical denter ustad level of work.

Well I'm unaware of the technicalities in creating more traction but that would improve it by some margin still not fully curb it though.

The radiator won't get enough air to cool down the engine. My car was very cool when I was driving on the motorway due to the wind cooling it down coming from the grill and it got very hot (NOT OVERHEATED) when I was stuck in traffic. It won't cool down. The inside of the car will get hot too. Any solutions?

you have to make airflow ways, vents, air scoops,
