Is it possible to put Baleno Engine in Margalla?

My Margalla engine has gone weak and mechanic advised me to replace engine instead of overhauling it, by paying few thousands. I am thinking of putting baleno engine in it. I am not technical person. I shall appreciate your suggestions....

yeah margalla has got G13B whereas Baleno has got G13BB..16V SOHC...85hp on Efi engine....yeah i think it can fit without any mods done in engine room...be ask him about shocks coil springs axles and radiator changes....i think it can work on margalla but ask him........and yeah its better to raplace with other rather than making that one...

yes you can put it in a margalla but be carefull about wiring and Electricals

ALso cost will be too high.

Spectra, what ll be the cost approx. ? Mechanic told me that it ll be around 18K to 20K, but we know that cost usually increase when we put all the matter in mechanic's hand.
Also did anybody practice to replace Margalla engine with baleno ? Guys please respond !

u can put ALTO VXR engine in dat too yea dats amazin but practical remmber swift sedan.. japanes ones.. deyhave the same type of engine as VXR dose .... so why not trying dat .. its cheap 1000cc 4 cylinder .. n was orignally designed for sedan...

bhai baleno has an EFI engine which needs an ECU, sensors, wiring and lot of electricals,w hereas Margalla has a carbuerator engine. That is why cost will be more. Baleno engine is also not very cheap

I highly doubt this figure of 18 to 20000. only the computer (second hand) will cost more then that.

I have Swift Sedan, 1000CC, Spectra it seems that Baleno engine will be expensive and i also fear of un-seen issues which may arise afterwards.

KiitCat, i have seen cultus engine which is 100% the same as Swift sedan. what will be the replacement price approx of alto VXR engine . and also Margalla /S-sedan is a big shape car, I always wanted it to be fitted with atleast 1300cc engine. The un-laiden weight of S-sedan is 745 Kgs. what about Alto VXR.

used n good condition baleno engine is around 60 k, and it will not work upto ur aspirations,thnx
