Is it possible to swap D15B Dual VTEC in Honda civic 7th generation?

assalam o alaikum n I have few questions from the experts ..

Is it possible to swap D15B Dual VTEC (3-stage) in honda civic 7th generation?
If I do get an auto transmission one I think it wont be able to work with the stock prosmatic transmission right? so I will have to change my gear box too for auto? and which auto gear box come with D15B Dual VTEC? is it same like prosmatic and does it have a D1 option? as I hate 7th generation prosmatic due to no D1 option in it?

also how many changes I would need to do on the mountings and wiring for putting D15B 3-stage VTEC in 7th generation? as I am planning to buy a clean eagle shape and then sell its D16W9 engine and puts a D15B VTEC 3-stage in it most probably with manual transmission so I need some experts advice regarding this swap and is it too much complex or would be simple? just like people swap it in 6th or 5th generation without much hassle?

mounts are different, not advisable, if u want this swap for power go for k20 or k24. N2O member of PW will help u in this regard.

hmm well K20 will be a lot harder on the fuel efficiency side so I want power and fuel efficiency too just like in D15B VTEC 3-Stage, hmm so that means I just can not do it? and I also if I am going for a K20 swap I would be getting a 8th generation civic for it and then selling its R18 engine and putting a K20 in it, putting K20 in 7th generation makes no sense to me

hmm so for D15B VTEC 3-Stage my only options for honda civic r just 5th and 6th generation? that is very sad .. that I cant put it in 7th generation or 8th generation?

hmm ok and if i do go for a K20 swap in a 7th generation civic M/T or AUTO what is the estimated fuel average you think I will get on it? as I have no experience with K20 fuel efficiency? you think I can get 10KM/Liter within a city with its auto transmission on 7th generation civic?

Dont even think about butchering in a D15B on an ES chassis.
You're better off with the stock engine as swapping in a D15B is pointless.

D15B and K20 are worlds apart so first decide what your main requirement is.
You can get a City SX8 and swap in a D15B if you really want to stick with the engine, although finding one with manual wiring/ecu is VERY rare.

cdnt agree more with Rohaan, decide wt sorta power u need n putting an older gen engine isnt a good option.

hmm ok I have decided to swap a k20 or k24 engine with 7th generation civic .. please kindly tell me will I also to have lower or change the suspension of my 7th civic? as I think for speed over 200KM/H the 7th generation gets quite vibrating .. and should I go for k20 or k24? and beside engine, wiring and ECU wat other changes I would need to do with my 7th generation civic?

And someone shed some light on the fuel consumption of k20 or k24?

If any user has already done this swap it would be a lot greatful of him to spend some time in this thread and update me with his experience of this swap.
Which Engine I should go for k20 or k24? I think there wont be much difference in fuel efficiency so I am thinking of going to the real beast K24, need suggestions on it ..
What is the estimated Fuel average I will get with this swap? any estimates?
Will i also have to lower the 7th generation eagle eye? or change its suspension? as at speeds of 200KM/H it vibrates a lot from my previous experience ..
If I go with an auto transmission which auto transmission comes with this engine? is it a prosmatic one? and if yes does it have D1 (first gear) option in it? cuz I hate 7th generation prosmatic transmission due to no D1 option in it
What other changes will I need to make in VTI eagle shape? will they be huge or less of a work to fit in this engine? I have also heard that AC makes some issues with this swap? is it true or AC just works fine with this swap too? need experts suggestions up here ..

Lol i prefer 7th gen over 8th gen anyday anytime when it comes in terms of power handling capacity etc.
and k20 in a 7th gen makes sense.
i got a k20 up for sale btw (complete swap,kabuli and not even swapped since it came)lemme know if you need that.
and a big NO for d15 3stage in ES as w9's also produce like d15b 3stage do.(now that idea dsnt make sense)

hmm still nobody has given me an fuel average idea of k20 or k24 motors? and also swapping this engine in 8th generation wont that be much easier?

^^8th gen has a smaller bay as compared to 7th gen apparently.
and k's go very well in 7th gens.
@fuel average you want power or economy? both of them won't come along buddy. expect the average of 10-11km/L max.
