Is it suitable to travel to Karachi from Lahore with a single driver?

I have been planning to go to Karachi from Lahore on my Honda Fit Aria Japanese model 2007, registered in Pakistan in 2014 with my family. Can I need another driver in my car or not? Also tell me the road conditions espacially Khanewal Lodhran Express Way and Bahawalpur Sukkur route as the information on other blogs is quite old now.

Road condition was good back in October, not sure about now but must be good. Yes, don't drive if you feel you need a nap. Take rest whenever you feel you need to. Better split-up your route in two days.

Easily possible i have done it in one go alone...just some redbull and tea after an hour or two helped...and road condition is perfect all the way

It is possible only if you love driving but its better to have another driver along or an overnight stay either in Rahim Yar Khan or Khairpur (i visited Gawadar in January 2019 and tried to travel till Karachi in one go but at NawabShah i was totally exhausted and stayed at Hyderabad), don't worry about road condition, road is perfect, Khanewal to Lodhran Express Way has been opened and very comfortable to drive

If you love driving then this stunt is easily doable but you have to start the trip very early with a good sleep of about 8-9 hours before the start of trip..I think if you start the tour at around 4 am then you can easily reach karachi around 9 pm with 3 to 4 lunch/dinner/tea/washroom stops of aggregate around 1.5 hours... and you can also cross Moro in day light of around Maghrib...

it is certainly possible provided if you enjoy driving.. i did Naran to Karachi in one go in 32 hours in July 2018.. and i have seen other people too who are taking long road trips.. you need to assess your stamina and interest to take decision as well as to ensure your car is mechanically fit.. no road issues at all either road condition or the security..

The only boaring patch is from Rohri till Khairpur... Other wise you can found greenry / traffic all the way to feel like city drive...

Yes, I have divided my road trip in two days. I have a plan to stay in Sukkur where I have some relatives.

I don't know if Fit 2007 is gasoline or hybrid, my hunch is that it's got a petrol engine, which could easily give you 15-16 km per liter or more. Back in 2017, my Toyota Altis 1.8l 2015 model gave 15km/l round trip from Karachi to Chakwal at a steady cruise of 120km/h most of the time, whereas my Vezel gave me 16.5km/l in Dec.2018 on a round trip from Karachi to Lahore. So you can have a pretty decent idea about the fuel consumption of your Fit.

Actually, It is Honda City 2007 model. It is called Honda Fit Aria in Japan. It was imported in Pakistan 2014. I need to know the fuel consumption of this vehicle. It is petrol engine but the vehicle is not hybrid.

You are the best judge since it's your vehicle, generally speaking long trips with uniform speed in top gear, give at least 10-15% better fuel average than normal day to day city driving.

It purely depends upon the fuel average of your Car, my ride was Honda Civic Oriel Prosmatic 2013 (Rebirth) and my fuel cost was around Rs.12000/- till Karachi.
Fuel average of your car would be ideal on this routes and in my opinion it will cost you around Rs.10000/- till Karachi.

Wonderful information. I think the fuel consumption must be below 75 liters as I have checked the fuel average of my car on long routes and it touches 18 KM per liter.
