Is it true - minibuses crossing Babusar pass!

I'll be taking the bus from Mansehra to Gilgit thisevening, the minibusses are travelling through the Kaghan valley and across the babusar pass NATCO has a departure everyday at 10am ans mashabrum has a minibus everyday leaving at varying times, it's much more expensive than last year Mashabrums minibus from Mansehra to Gilgit costs 1300rps.

wow, is this really true?? i heard that babusar top is not even open for Jeeps most of the time so how come minibus can go through? but personally i feel that commercial transport must not be allowed otherwise we will loose nature!!

One: Monsoon Rains, Two: Ramzaan, Three: No Storage this year for winter, Four: Prices of everything in market is raised 10 Folds.....so ppl of Gligit/Baltistan are leaving to south for winter....two passenger PIA flights+1 C130+1 Heli is operating daily from Skardu to Islamabad ... still there is a long wait at the airport everyday....by road traffic thro old KKH is still blocked due to landsliding ... as a make shift arrangment all (small) local traffic has been diverted towards Babusar Pass....even some of the buses use the deosai-astore route as well...interestingly passengers are happy as they say it takes less time then before!!

All brothers mai ne Balakot se pta kia hai k kia Gilgit by Naran road Khul gya hai to ap sab ko khush khabri hai k it is tru k Gilgit via Naran ab har gari k lye mumkin hai lakin bahsal se age road carrpited nai hai par gari k qabil hai jese Neelum Valley road hai balke us se thori behtar condition mai road bahsal se age tyar hai or Van's or Buses Gilgit ja rahi hain via Naran Mujhe is lye confirm hai k Balakot mai mera susral hai or mera brother in law se mai ne information li hai so ye mamla ab hal ho gia hai

Yes, its true. A gora reported this from gilgit. He traveled to Gilgit through Babusar top by a van and reported that things are much better in Kaghan valley but track to Chilas is in poor shape.
