Is it wise to buy Audi a5? Or there is any other better option

Posting this thread 2nd time, as first one remained unanswered. So, i have recently sold prado 4.0 and now i am planning to buy A5, i have used a3 1.2 also. The reason of changing prado is thay my daily average is 100kms and prado isnt a fuel efficient car. So if it is good to go for audi a5 or there is any other better option (suv or sedan) in budget of a5 that is 1.30 crore. Thanx

If fuel economy as well as comfort is your concern, look into a Crown Athlete 2015 onwards , its a hybrid so awesome fuel economy, and its a big car , it holds its presence quite well and of course crowns are known for their comfort

Bro...you are going to spend 1.3 crore on a car and you are worried about fuel efficiency...anyhow if you want best fuel efficiency and drive...better buy the civic...get that for 40 lacs and spend the rest of the amount on fuel for next 50 years...

This is one of the main misconception here that if any one is spending huge amount of money. He shouldn't be worried about fuel efficiency. I have told you that i kept audi a3 first. Now i want to go for audi a5. These audis are best by all aspects that is fuel efficiency and other factors ad comapred to civic. So civic is not in the list... i meant to ask that some other german cars are also in market like merc and bmw

Actually i drive more than 100 kms each day within city plus one main thing is that after using audi i am not that much satisfied with prado.. which is also a factor

Toyota Camry hybrid 2018-19. Yeah it might look slightly bland in front of Audi A5 but the reliability is bullet proof and better fuel economy plus slightly cheaper parts as compared to Audi a5 and better availability in case something goes awry.

If I were you, I would only consider the following cars in this budget in the order of preference:

1. Mercedes-Benz C180 2019-2020 model
2. Audi A5
3. Audi A4

My reasons for putting merc on the top is:
1. I find its ride more plush than both the audis.
2. Interior looks more upscale, although audis interior looks very executive too
3. C180 is RWD, as opposed to both Audis being FWD only
4. Dealing with shahnawaz is a bit better than dealing with audi dealership when it comes to parts and routine service.

Rest is your choice. All three look stunning and it's a matter of personal preference.

Dear if I am at your place; I have 1.3 Crore budget, and I have to choose a German Brand only, I would only go for a Mercedes Benz!

E Class or preferably S Class; any variant which matches my budget and requirements.

C Class would be last preference in these 3.

Yes. It means Rear Wheel Drive.

But RWD in Mark X, VS RWD in Mercedes Benz; lots of difference!

YES. My opinion is different.

If no other factor is there, still, Mercedes is far far better than Audi and BMW, when it comes to reliability. Audi and BMW are a bit fragile, when compared to Mercedes.

Given an option, I would always choose Mercedes, unless / until Audi and BMW are being offered at throw away prices.

I would personally go for the crown athlete hybrid since suvs are out of the question . But if you really really want a german car then try to find the contact number of an existing owner. Bmws would depreciate wayy too fast and I believe the c class would be much smaller than the a5. Why dont you test drive a crown.

Brother go for a 2018 camry with closed eyes!
Gives 17 18 on motorway and 14 in city.
Or go for grown royal Saloon 2014 plus G. Dont go for athlete.
Audi will run out of warrantly after two years.
