Is it worth for me to buy 15-16 years old car?

i currently drive a 2017 wagonR, but i am not much of a fan of it, i was thinking of switching to a sedan, a 2005 civic, or a lancer.
now would it be worth it for me to sell my comparably new car to get an old one? considering i can not add a single ruppee to my budget.
what are the pros and cons for me in it.
open for any advice, thank you

Bro Old gadi leker us me zaroor kaam nikalte hain infact ap recent years k b leinge to un b kaam nikalte hain ! and these old Civic are not easy to maintain, you should know everything how to maintain them ager koi problem ajae !

Pros :- Power, comfort, nice exterior looks, some more features, sedan car with more room and a trunk.
Cons :- Increased price of parts, less fuel average, doubtful condition of the car when buying it. Plus, it will be an old car which would require some work if not taken care of from the previous owners

In this time when used car market is on fire, you will be overpaying for 15 year old vehicle reaching its end of useful life for most original components = more time in workshop and more hidden expenses. This is not the right time for such experimentation, enjoy your maintenance free 2017 model and be thankful for what you have. You will soon get a better sedan vehicle, just wait couple of years.

I personally would go for it because drive of that civic is just great especially manual varient.It's ur own.choice.As maintenance goes it all depends on the car u r buying.If it's kept good and taken care of.I was seeing review of wagon r and it's parts prices were sky high.

bhai jan, the ONLY con for buying civic is higher maintenance and fuel expense.
you will have to put some money in Civic to bring it to desired condition.
other than that..Wagon R is "khoti rerhi" in comparison to Civic's drive and comfort
if you can spend some extra money to fix Civic ... go for it !

if you are a car guy and look for having a good driving experience and enjoy it then get a saloon be it a civic or corolla..civic is more driver concentric car, means it keeps driver more involved towards driving and offcourse its responsive fun to drive car on carpeted roads, however on a bit rough surfaces corolla would lead the way when it comes to comfort...am talking abt 2005/6 variants of both

but if you are more towards maintenance worries /parts availibility and cost calculations including fuel economy, then you already have the best soccer mom van
