Is Land Cruiser II (1992-1995) a feasible daily driver?

Friends, keeing in mind the current diesel prices, is it feasible to get a Land Cruiser II, 5 door version as a daily driver? I work in Islamabad but have to go to Abbottabad for the weekends. Occasionally the weekends take me to Nathia gali, Thandiani or Shogran, depending on the kids' choice. Can the 4x4 gurus on this forum tell me the average consumption of a manual version with a 2700 cc non turbo engine... REALLY appreciate any help on this!!!

It has 3L Engine which is 2800cc non turbo.

It gives an average of 7 to 10 km/lit.

Its not an economical vehicle.

But if fuel is no problem for you them go for it or otherwise leave it.

There is no GURU in the world who can tell u whether it's economical for you or not unless u tell him your salary, house rent, kids, their fees in school, servants salary etc etc. Just kidding brother. A good 3L will give u around 9 to 10 KM on long so please calculate it against your routine and be your GURU.

the fuel average listed above is fairly correct. you will not find quality 4x4 that will give you better economy and will be reliable and solid as LC.
there are more things to consider than just the fuel economy, parts availability, easy to service and reliability are as important if not more.

LC is the king of the road when it comes to all of the above. its an excellent choice

well it can be economical i heard from my cuz as he put 3s petrol engine and cng so was very happy ,he said that" it gives me car mileage in city and in hunting and offroading i switch to petrol for extra power ....SO if u are a family man i think this combination will suite you

@ NaCC, Bro I saw another post from you regarding a '96 Pajero. I believe you own one. Am in Abbottabad on weekeneds. Possible if we meet and discuss pros n cons of a pajero??

fahad i dont think it would be an economical on ur pocket if u r an employee
but if ur a politician or ch wadaira, then it will b a good choice to keep
further more the avg of 7-10 km is on long and while driving up-hills it will consume more and will be heavy on ur pocket.
+ its an old model and daily runner should go for a car not more than 2-3 years old.
rest choice n decision is urs,
