I own a Samsung LED 32" 4000 tv and I am pretty happy with LED tv's so far, they have awesome picture quality and is of latest technology so far I believe in Pakistan.
Regarding 3D, my brother had a Samsung Smart 3D tv, and to be honest, it's fun for a few weeks because of all the 3D features it comes with. After that, it gets boring and people often tend to get bored using glasses just to watch tv etc.
And it might only come with a pair of 3D enabled glasses or maybe 4 not sure :S
Try testing different TV's, and I am sure LG 42" 3D tv will cost over 50,000 PKR, if it ain't a SMART TV, i would've gone for Samsung SMART TV, it has WIFI enabled, Android, fun to use applications and many more features!
Reading a review of the above mentioned tv, it seems fun haha, stream movies etc to it, share files wirelessly to it is an absolute dream to have.
At the end of the day, it's Your tv, I won't force you to buy anything, and I am not saying that Samsung is the best tv, it's all about personal preferences. I am stuck into a massive car choice at the moment, I was rushing to get a 13' Swift DLX, I took a trip to local showrooms and fell in love with some other cars and I am still pondering over what to do!
And try to buy it from a reputeable shop, not sure where You're from, but company certified shops, Hyperstar, Metro etc since local shops have usually opened the boxes to give customers a trial of the TV in beforehand.
