So, I sold my Suzuki Swift 2011 model that was on my Father's name who is filer
We gave the book to our agent, who is my father's far relative's friend, to pay our 2 years tax in KARACHI!!
He paid it and charged us non filer amount by saying that there is nothing like filer or non filer now adays(September 2020) and we paid.
Now, the book is with him since that time and the buyer is so lazy and careless that he didnt even pick it up.
I called him to get it transfer from my agent and when i called my agent he asked me to pay 7.5k more as witholding tax as my car is lock and can not be transfered without it.
I researched and got to know that new Witholding tax is only on 5 years old car and my Swift was 9 years old.
Is he right or not?
