Although its a nice phone, but its better to go for Samsung Galaxy S II, its future proof and more likely to last for the next couple of years. And at the same time the price difference isn't much to be a major issue !

I was never fan of Touch screen but this phone changed my mind. Draw backs were memory card. You cant put a memory card. for me even 1GB was enough. Second, battery timing which is pretty common with all these phones. Rest, I loved it.

Placed the order 3-4 hours ago via homeshopping, lets see how they service...
I have seen dozens of reviews/videos over the internet in the last few days, I guess its a big leap forward from a Nokia 1280, I guess I will love it thanks for taking the time to reply

I had a transition from Nokia too. My phone was E73. Now using HTC Panache but miss Nexus

Order a spare battery for Nexus S if you plan on using it for at least a day without recharge but i think this low battery timing problem is common in Android Mobile.Phone is awesome but keep in mind that it comes with stock android so you might find the stock design boring in which case you can flash custom rom but in that case i highly recommend Galaxy S Instead of Nexus S.Plus point of Nexus S is that it will get official Ice Cream Sandwich update in few weeks.I am sure you won't regret purchasing Nexus S.
Pros: Stock Rom therefore incredibly fast - Excellent Super Amoled Display - Regular Official Updates Thanks To Google
Cons: NO SD CARD support - Extremely Low Battery Timing, Plasticky Build

There are two versions- i902t comes with Super Amoled however it is expensive and most of the phones sold here are SLCD Variant (i902A).Plus Samsung sells SLCD Variant in Europe due to super amoled shortage SLCD is used in HTC and other brand's smartphones so it is extremely good.You get On the air updates on Nexus S so when your phone is connected to wifi you can go to settings and click on Check for Updates and if Update is available it will give you the option of downloading and installing the update (Hardly 10~20 minutes process).I am sure you will be truly impressed by Android - It's just awesome!So many awesome features and apps.

OK, the only down side is the low battery time, it gives I think max 6-7 hours of usage.. and how to STOP the phone from using my GPRS connection? whenever I turn my wifi off it connects to the GPRS ????

Like i said before Battery time is a major issue!To turn off GPRS
Settings>Wireless & Network Settings > Mobile Networks and from there uncheckData Enabled and Data Roaming Options.

Though that's a long way to go just to disable the GPRS, it should have been in the power tools as well (like the WiFi)... anyways...

Can you also tell me, if we can upgrade the battery, if yes, how much time will it give?
