bro but my friend has santro 2009 model it is very good condition amazing speed and santro suspension is front macpherson strut and back independent very good but your opinion

Santro is a crap car. No I am not been sarcastic I am serious. I have owned one for about 4years and it stayed less with me and more in workshops

Bhai i owned a Santro Club 2008 model ..Bought from Show room and lasted 234,000/- Kms without overhaul. Never gave any problem (other than minor things) before being overhauled. sold in 2018

Bhai if u have bought an abused car and it troubled u certainly doesn't mean its a bad car.

i have got three of my friends who have bought santros of different models and everyone has kept these vehicles for more than 5 year and still one of them own it till now.

Everyone of them enjoyed it and say one of the best cars in this category. u just need the right mechanic simple.

Buying a santro in todays time is not advisable because an unmolested or properly maintained santros is very hard to find and yet the parts finding will be not easy.

Santro when brought brand new was a splendid vehicle in its category..a smooth drive and a silent cabin.
Bought one "club GV" in 2007 brand new from hyundai sajjad motors lahore..sold it off in 2016..it was used in a very rough manner but all the maintainences were done periodically it kept up with the abuse but did require an engine overhaul..
But nowadays go for a brand new car..not an old santro

Ans: It doesn't matter anymore because it's a really old car! Santro was introduced WAY back in early 2000s and it's not a bright idea to buy a 1.5 decade old small displacement kei-car which has clocked 200,000+ kilometers in an EXTREMELY hot climate.

Buying an outdated car which have no more existence and no more future is not a good decision. Nishat-Hyundai Pakistan also not seems to launch Santro again in near future, so Better to buy a present or emerging car which is currently in local production and have some future existence plans in Pakistan,
Resale, parts availability and after sales issues matter a lot. If you can handle a Mehran comfort or safety wise then it is still better position than Santro, although Mehran is dis-continued but I think it will take around 5-6 more years to be called as outdated car in Pakistan.
