Is Suzuki planning to discontinue Swift?

I dont think they will discontinue. They just wana increase price somehow to increase sales of overly priced cultus dlx

They are adding Android based navigation in DLX by default. So price increase is also expected.

The beauty of it is that no authorized dealer will tell you the truth. The new cultus seems to be focus and no one is willing to talk about the swift which is more car for the money in my opinion. Stupid pricing strategy.

I visited two showrooms in Lahore and the sales people sounded desperate to sell the cultus! It may be a good car but Pak Suzuki seems adamant on ripping people off! At least there was no premium and delivery was under 3 weeks...

On the test drive, I found the engine to be very loud and bad sounding and a big jerk was felt every time I lifted off the throttle! I hope this is just a one off problem with the test drive unit.

I experienced the same thing when I test drove the new Cultus. Engine was very loud and noisy.
I went to Suzuki Islamabad motors I-9.

If only they introduce the new swift with the 1.2 or 1.0 turbo MILD HYBRID setups...

I might actually forgive them for overpricing

This was certainly on the cards... although I was expecting that they might close the manual swift altogether or introduce air bags with a price hike... but suzuki played wise..
